It was nice!Posted Apr 13, 2015
Pros: It was friendly!
It was nice and it did the job. I wish it had been closer to where I needed it to be. I'm not familiar with Witchita so I needed to do some back tracking.

Nice pricePosted Mar 23, 2015
The price was very reasonable and the room was clean and nice. The room is very small, however for four people!

Like It!Posted Mar 19, 2015
My wife & I don't require luxury; only basic, clean, well maintained, friendly staff and to allow two small dogs while we travel from home to relatives' homes. This trip was 1800 miles. Motel 6 fit the bill; to a "T".

Use as a Last choicePosted Jul 3, 2014
Bed was uncomfortable and the pillows where flat. Tight fit with the shower and toilet in one little room. Room was clean and the ac worked well. Halls where really hot and humid. I would use this hotel as a last choice.

Good price & location; low-grade roomPosted Jun 29, 2014
Pros: Good AC; WiFi; USB ports on desk
Cons: Breakfast should be provided as stated on their website; They need to replace the furniture and carpet.
Location: It's right off Kellogg, and there's a Red Lobster a few blocks West (in the Target plaza).
The price was better than most other motels in the area, and the location (right off Kellogg) is good. The rooms were clean, quiet, and had good air conditioning; and it was nice to have WiFi and USB charging ports on the desk. The three biggest detractors were: (1) Very small bathroom. It is hard to get in and out without rubbing up against the wall and toilet, and I'm a thin guy. (2) No continental breakfast. Although advertised on their site, the front desk clerk said breakfast is NOT provided. They did have coffee though. (3) Run-down appearance. There were spots and holes in the carpet, and the fake wood veneer was peeling off the bedstands and desk legs. My advice: Pay the extra $20 and stay in a Super8.

Clean but noisyPosted Jun 3, 2014
Pros: The staff was friendly
Cons: Noise level
Location: We were in town for the State Track meet and it was very close to Cessna Stadium.
The hotel was clean, nothing fancy. But the air-conditioner made a terrible clunking noise every time it kicked on, the mattress squeaked and you could hear every thing going on outside of the room

A roof over your headPosted Jun 1, 2014
Pros: Really the only thing I liked about this place was it was quiet for the most part and very reasonably priced.
Cons: To many things to list. But that's not what this place is about.
Location: The location is great. Right off of two major streets on the east side. Across the street from the mall and several nice eateries and fast food joints
This is the minumulist type hotel. My only reason for staying there was its the only place availible. Several big events going on the weekend we were in town. The room was small, not much for amenities. The bathroom was like a phone booth. No water pressure in the shower. The beds were moderately comfortable. The pillows were flatter then cardboard. The floor in the room was wood laminate and dirty.( Felt like being barefoot in the garage.) All that being said, if you are just looking for a cheap place to catch some zzz's it will suit the purpose. Also it's not econolodge any longer. It's motel 6. This could explain a lot about the conditions.

No shampooPosted Apr 20, 2014
Pros: Closeness to facilities.
We have stayed at many hotels. My wife always brings her on shampoo. Most all hotels provide a small packet of shampoo. However, the one time she forgets it, none was provided. I was told by the desk clerk that the hotel had recently changed from Econo Lodge to Hotel 6 and that the old Econo Lodge provided shampoo , but Hotel 6 does not . My wife was not a happy camper.

Smoke HousePosted Jul 11, 2013 on Hotels.com
The staff was excellent. The whole hotel stunk of smoke. Every room we passed was posted as non-smoking but the whole hotel was smoke filled. We woke up thinking we had smoked a pack of cigarettes, and we don't smoke!
