Clean hotel, very nice staff, uncomfortable beds

Posted Feb 9, 2015
Pros: Staff and overall areas clean
Cons: MATTRESS
Location: Just 2 minutes from downtown Wichita, close to eating, drinking, entertainment
Staff very nice, Hotel areas clean and remodeled, room was clean and remodeled except the bathroom- it still had the old tub with stains from the 80's and the old tub surround with a sprayer head that barely put out water. But they did put new tile on floor and new toilet. The bed mattress was new but very uncomfortable with a nice down pillow. If I would have gotten a decent sleep I would stay here more often. CHANGE YOUR MATTRESS

Underwhelming

Posted Jan 20, 2015
We were assigned a handicap accessible room, tho it was not requested/ needed. Because of the additions to the shower, the curtain wasn't long enough to go around the entire shower space, so it was freezing. Trim needed repainted everywhere. Heater in room did not hold a constant temperature.

WYNDHAM

Rooms are smaller than the pictures make it appear, and the maid service lacked a little. Overall the room was comfortable. I would stay here again.

Nightmare

Posted Jan 9, 2015
Pros: Close to other fast food
Cons: Better housekeeping
Location: Not sure
The bed pillars had someone else hair, live bugs, on pillar and bed. Front desk was notified.

Red light district downtown location

Posted Dec 29, 2014
Pros: near highway and mid way between airport and other locations I needed to visit
Cons: Wifi connectivity and strength, heating and air unit, sink and tub drainage, cleanliness of room, and lack of television channels
Location: there were various fast food restaurants nearby, Quicktrip and Spa/ Pool hall across street
not much to tell. checked in, went to cold stale smelling room. had to keep getting up to adjust heat as tempeture gauge on unit must not have been working correctly cause would be either too hot or too cold regardless of where I set the tempature gauge. Could not complete mandatory work as wifi signal kept going in and out. Other hotelsand buildings in area made it seem like a red light seedy area

Nice stay

Posted Dec 19, 2014
Pros: See above
Cons: Cleaning staff need to pay more attention to check-out time up-dates
Location: Great location: on freeway (but no noise), downtown but close to everything in Wichita like Zoo, colleges, shopping, clubs and restaurants.
Check-in was smooth and staff great. Room was nice with a large bath. We liked that the doorways were recessed and that it was a non-smoking hotel. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

Three pleasant days at Wyndham Garden

Posted Dec 8, 2014
My wife and I spent three pleasant days visiting in Wichita and were very happy with the Wyndham. Breakfast was perhaps a bit blah but otherwise we liked the hotel. We'd stay there again.
