Great stay in a humble hotel.Posted Jun 25, 2014
Pros: The staff is truly helpful and really caters to the guest. The receptionist helped us get a larger room to accommodate my family.
Cons: I would like to have a better cost savings.
Location: The location has a great market place and several churches to visit for site seeing. The people there are very nice and helpful.
This was our first experience in Germany and we enjoyed the stay at the Best Western Hotel Hansa at Wiesbaden.

Pros: Proximity to downtown.
Overall hotel was great, staff very helpful. Only negative was parking--on site parking very limited; if you have anything but a very small car you will need to park elsewhere. There is a commercial lot a few blocks away.

This is a typical older European hotel..Some things could be better. For example, the tap in the bathroom dripped continuously.. I had to put a towel in the sink to keep the sound down. I think the price is too high for the quality of this hotel... Over all. I liked the old world feel to the place, But it was not worth the price..

Location, location, location!!!Posted Oct 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
A ten minute walk with luggage along a nice blvd from the Main Bahnhof. A 10 minute walk to the downtown core and all of the "sites/sights" of Wiesbaden. Very large spacious rooms. Would certainly stay here again when in Wiesbaden. A great city to visit for a couple of days and a great location to explore from.

An enjoyable place to statPosted Apr 14, 2013
Pros: The spacious accommodation
Cons: We had some difficulty making ourselves understood when visiting tithe restaurant for the evening meal
Location: Easy access to the railway station and the city centre.
The hotel was in a convenient location and in excellent condition. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was large with plenty of room to sit together with comfortable beds. The bathroom was offset from the main room and was very well equipped. A large bath with shower facilities and lashings of hot water. Everything worked well. Free wifi was a definite bonus together with complementary tea and coffee on request.

A comfortable hotel within short walking distance of the Old City shopping and the main train station. The hotel parking lot is small, with space for 10-12 cars. However, if it fills up, there are several other underground lots nearby. The breakfast buffet is great! The hotel staff is friendly and very helpful. We stayed in February, so a lack of air conditioning wasn't an issue. It might be in summer.

Clean and AcceptablePosted Nov 5, 2012 on Hotels.com
This is a typcial European Hotel. The rooms are small but clean. Overall it is acceptable for a short stay. The parking lot is is very difficult to manuever if you have a larger vehicle. The location is excellent, being just a few blocks from the city center.

Great location, friendly staff, minimal amenitiesPosted Aug 18, 2012
Not business traveler friendly regarding amenities in the room. BIG plus for free internet/wireless. However, no coffee or tea or anyway to make hot water. No iron or ironing board. Beds were VERY firm. No lotion or conditioner. No A/C - but with windows open it was pleasant, unfortunately is it located on a busy corner so traffic noises until late - 11pm - and street cleaners at 3am. Breakfast buffet looked good - I did not partake. Easy to find - quick walk from train station. Well located near MarktPlatz.
