Pleasantly Surprised

Posted Mar 17, 2015
Pros: Location and price
I have been coming to Williamsburg since 1987 and sometimes I stay at my timeshares and other times at hotels. I was pleasantly surprised at Best Western. It is being updated very nicely. The room is spacious and the bathroom facility are nice; plenty of hot water. They serve a complimentary breakfast, and very convenient to all things Williamsburg. For the price and location I would recommend this hotel.

Not so much in the Historic Area

Posted Feb 18, 2015
Pros: Fabulous staff
Cons: Breakfast - add a make your own waffle machine.
Location: Located near a strip mall.
The staff was fantastic - helpful, polite, friendly. Breakfast was adequate - typical buffet. Property was clean and well maintained. Not really located in the Historic Area - certainly not walking or bicycling distance away.

Nice dependable, standard hotel.

Posted Feb 17, 2015
Pros: Staff.
Cons: Noise level higher than I wanted, especially with a bus full of high school basketball players in residence.
Location: Less than 5 mins to William and Mary, colonial Williamsburg, close to shopping, outlets within reach.
Friendly staff and good location for this rather ordinary and nondescript hotel. Heard the noise in the hallway. Bath facilitates dated. On the other hand, staff was more than friendly and wanted to assure my comfort. Breakfast as good as many I eat at home but not anything extra.

The rooms were very comfortable & the staff was so very helpful. Breakfast was decent. Loved the location -- easy to get to Colonial Williamsburg & the Outlet Mall & Pottery Factory.

Great location

Posted Dec 1, 2014
Pros: location, pool
Cons: breakfast, "fog"/steam in the pool area
Location: Christmas Town, Colonial Williamsburg
This was a great location and good value for what we needed - a central spot to visit the local activities and restaurants. The free breakfast was not exactly what we expected - we were hoping for more "hot" choices, but not surprising for "free".

Weekend getaway to be close to the College of William and Mary and Colonial Williamsburg. Hotel is nothing special, but no problems what-so-ever. Exceptional continental breakfast!

It was very comfortable for the family to stay for our vacation, that we had stayed an extra day. We liked the service very much! Great place to stay!
