Saving money isn't always worth it

The location is great for any area attractions. The day staff were helpful but very stressed. The night help was caring but stressed. The carpets looked dingy and dated and the hallways are dimly lit. The building shows its age. The rooms look like the pictures, however the bathrooms are very small. No fridge or microwaves in the rooms (Independently owned hotel). The bed was comfortable and the bedding excellent. The rooms have been updated so they look modern. We had an issue with the cleanliness of the first room we were in, and had our room changed. They have sub par security latches.. The complimentary breakfast was very blah, a great many outside food choices a few minutes drive away . And lastly the luggage carts needed major wheel maintenance.. As I told my wife, if outside of the room reflected the feel on the inside of the room the experience would have been much better.. I won't be back unless they have a building makeover and address the issues stated. But if all you need is a comfortable bed and don't care about the rest it will do in a pinch.

A relaxing place to stay

Everyone was nice. The breakfast was really goid and rooms too! The price and the location is excellent you have everything near by, many restaurants to choose from and not very far from Bush Gardens either

Good value

Pros: Very clean!
Cons: Every night I was ther I had problems with my door locks. The staff worked to correct the issues quickly, but it was inconvenient.
Location: Great location in Williamsburg with easy access to colonial Williamsburg, shopping, and Busch Gardens.
We stay frequently has this hotel because it is clean and safe. The rooms have been refreshed and are ver clean. Some ares of the hotel need some updating, but can't beat the price.

Great location near really good places to eat. Just wish the room came with a security safe box in the room but not a big deal for a short stay. Staff was very nice and made stay comfortable.

Good for price

Pros: The price and location
Cons: supervision of the breakfast area by the staff.
Location: It is between the Prime Outlets and Colonial Williamsburg. There are many places to eat nearby and a short drive to Busch Gardens and Water Country.
We did not stay for breakfast because four small, unattended children were getting into the food with their hands. The children seemed to be alone and not belong to anyone in the seating area. We saw no employee overseeing the breakfast area at that moment. The food selection was OK and included some hot selections. The problem was with the clientele and not the hotel staff. The room was clean and comfortable and overall we had a nice stay. There is a good place to eat breakfast next door. We would go back .

Run down

Our room was run down the walls were dirty there were cob webs, spider webs, no microwave no refrigerator. For the price it felt like we were staying at a motel not a hotel. This place is definitely in need of a major upgrade. The pictures online were definitely not what we saw when we arrived. We came from the Great Wolf Lodge to this hotel and it was definitely no comparison.. Please spend your money and time elsewhere. Also the wifi is in need of a fix because it doesn't work..

We enjoyed ourselves!! Great location!! 15 mins away from Busch Gardens & less than 15 mins away from excellent restaurants & shopping!!

Not bad for the price

When I got here the power was out , there was a big storm so it wasn't their fault . The power came back on shortly , our rooms were clean and bathrooms too. I don't have any complaints , I'd probably stay here again if I go back to Williamsburg . It wasn't far from Busch gardens and water country USA . There are more than enough places to eat within close proximity. Staff was nice. They even let me print my tickets at the front desk .
