Cons: Breakfast area was in a weird location. Only had 1 highchair in breakfast area. Need about 3 more.
Older hotel but was clean. Price was right. Would stay again.

Nice hotel, good location, great price

Posted Nov 24, 2014
Pros: Cleanliness/ proximity to activities/ price
Cons: Some of the curtains could use updating (had some holes and defects) but really not a deal breaker
Location: Colonial Williamsburg/ Jamestown. King's arm tavern has excellent authentic food and excellent for dinner.
We spent 2 nights in this hotel. The price for the hotel stay was excellent, especially comparing to the hotels in the area, many of which didn't seem to offer many more amenities or comfort. The room was very comfortable and organized. A small fridge in the room would have been nice but we knew we wouldn't have this when we booked it. The hotel was quiet and peaceful. We did not use the indoor poor or hot tub but did view it-- I would say it looks OK but not as inviting as it could be. Hot complimentary breakfast was served was fairly good--clearly someone has been putting effort into it. Breakfast included hot waffles, omelet/ hard boiled eggs and sausage in addition to toast/bagels and cereal/ yogurt. This hotel fit out needs perfectly. Location was also great as it was only a few minutes drive to the Colonial Williamsburg visitor center where we parked and took the bus into the colonial area for our day trip and then again for dinner. Would definitely recommend.

Pros: Location, price.
Location: Great
A noise kept us up most of the night ..not sure if it was the elevator or what. Can also hear people in adjoining rooms. Just one of my pet peeves ..I like NO sound at all.

Hot water

Posted Oct 16, 2014
The hot water would bleed over to the cold side, you needed to run the cold water in the sink and tub for five min. or so to get cold water. The rest of the stay was GREAT....
