“it's a yes”

Had a pleasant visit. Check-in was quick. We had reserved thru Expedia and all was in order. Room was clean, a/c worked great as it was very hot that night. Restaurant for breakfast was good and convenient. Parking was ample. Would recommend this hotel for price and location.

“Great experience”

Excellent choice of hotel for the price. Requested a specific room that we had stayed in before and they honored that request. Staff was helpful and friendly. Have had only good experiences with this hotel. Excellent location for visits to Busch Gardens and/or Colonial Williamsburg.

“Nice Hotel”

Very accomodating/professional front desk. Although we only stayed one night, it was a memorable stay.

“For what I paid I would have to say this is the absolute best value I've had in years, if not, ever.”

professional and courteous staff, nice facility that remains well-maintained considering inevitable aging. breakfast was fine. appetizers and lounge were excellent, bartender excellent, room was perfectly clean and appointed. stay was wonderful, especially taking a swim inside while it froze outside.

“Nice hotel, close to parks and colonial area”

After I had already booked the hotel, I read some startlingly bad reviews, so I had a little trepidation. But either they were competitors griping, or the hotel had made major renovations before we got there. It was not quite the same level of Crowne Plaza you see in a big city (i.e., super luxury), but it was quite nice and just luxurious enough. The front desk was helpful and courteous, the rooms were large and clean, bathrooms included. The hotel is very close to the parks as well as Colonial Williamsburg--the perfect location. The only potential negative I can see is that this appears to be a popular hotel for large groups (sort of a convention hotel), and there was a huge group of teenagers staying when we got there (Memorial Day weekend, and the place was booked). They were well behaved and we had no issues. All in all, it's a good price and great location for a nice hotel.

“Crowne Plaza Williamsburg”

6/09 This hotel was very nice. The location was very convenient to all the local attractions and restaraunts. My only complaint is the bathroom is a little on the small side, hard to get dressed in the morning in there. But the place was very clean and the employees were friendly. I would highly recommend choosing this hotel if you were planning a trip to Williamsburg.

“Most Comfortable Beds Ever!!”

I actually found a couple of hotel deals that were slightly less in price but decided to stay at the Crowne Plaza because they always have the most comfortable beds, pillows and linens. It is like sleeping on a huge marshmallow!! I just love it and it was totally worth the little extra I paid. The staff was wonderful and very accomodating. I'd definitely recommend this hotel.

“Not overwhelming, but just fine - especially for families with pets”

Reasonably good rooms, very firm mattresses, and decent overall amenities. The real attraction was that we could take our small dog, which is not allowed at many area hotels.
