Our room was very much like our bedroom at home.Posted Jan 6, 2014
Pros: The hominess and large breakfast room
Cons: The noisy heater.
Location: Conveniently located to the Colonial City as well as a straight shot to the outlets, restaurants and oter businesses on west Richmond Road.
The bed was comfortable; the bathroom was updated, clean and conveniently appointed. We were minutes from Wm. & Mary Campus, thus the same from MarketSquare of the Colonial City. The breakfast room was NOT just begrudgingly carved-out of a hotel room with 3 tables so close one knocked over his neighbors' juice, rather it was the size of your typical Dunkin Donuts restaurant having 15 tables spaceously placed along with 2 computers for guest use. Not just cereal was served but 2 Belgiem waffle irons were provided along with fruit, bagles and blueberry muffins. Although the pool was covered & closed for the winter, it is a huge pool with plenty of room for perhaps 50 swimmers. The heater was a bit noisy, otherwise, you'll like your stay here.

Smoke smelling roomsPosted Dec 5, 2013 on Hotels.com
We booked one night but ended up staying two so we could take in Jamestown and Yorktown on our trip as well. We changed rooms but both had been noticably smoked in even though they were non smoking rooms. There was a used towel still in the bathroom and for our second night one of the beds was damp? and we couldn't use it. Front desk service was friendly and there is a good sized breakfast eating area though it would benefit from having a TV in there rather than out in the lobby. Location was close to our desitination and the price was extremely reasonable.

Quite affordablePosted Dec 2, 2013 on Hotels.com
I found the room quite acceptable. Breakfast left a bit to be desired, but overall a good stay. Close-in location. Several restaurants within walking distance.

Cheap hotel near Colonial Williamsburg.Posted Nov 28, 2013
Pros: Within walking distance to Colonial Williamsburg, okay breakfast, free wi-fi. Cons: Room was cold, we only had hot water for the first day (stayed 3 nights), hard bed. I wish there were more options for breakfast, there were only carbs (bagels, waffles, muffins) and bananas- would have liked just some yogurt or anything else.
