You get what you pay for!

There was only one trashcan in the room. There is no refrigerator. Got up for breakfast and just went back to my room. Not worth the effort to go. Was told by staff there would be Omelettes. Not true at all. Parking is way to limited and tight.

Room was cheap, but not very clean.

Posted Apr 22, 2015
Pros: Cost was lower.
The room was ok. The breakfast was decent... waffles, juice. Our room had a smell and the bathroom had hair still in it. It just did not have a clean look or feel. This was the primary disappointment.

Great location for visiting historical Williamsbur

Posted Apr 17, 2015
Pros: Location
Cons: Communication between staff and guests concerns need to be addressed quickly and make sure all parties are satisfied.
Housekeepers cleaned room and my nightgown was missing. I alerted front desk and have still had no answer. When checking out 8 days ago said they would mail it back if they found it or make " restitution ". I have called and still have to resolution.

So convenient!

Posted Apr 17, 2015
While this particular hotel is a bit of a time capsule, the owners and staff clearly take pride in keeping it up. Consequently, it is an excellent choice for budget conscious guests who value the close proximity to Colonial Williamsburg and the College of William and Mary, which are both within walking distance.

Nice hotel close to Colonial Williamsburg and W&M

Posted Apr 16, 2015
Pros: Close cheap and clean
Cons: Better breakfast. Better steps to 2nd floor or elevator.
Met our expectations on cleanliness and comfort for a low price. The breakfast is almost non-existant but generallyfine for a short stay

Clean. Good location. Reasonable price. Quiet. We were visiting our daughter at the College of William and Mary and it was perfect for a one night stay.

Poor customer service

Posted Apr 3, 2015
They gave us the wrong room- when I went back to tell them the key wasn't working, I had to wait for the the front desk attendant to get off of his cell phone. He said he didn't know why were given the wrong room..... Then I expressed concern over having additional charges on my card- with no explanation on his part, I was just told "it's very fishy"...... No attempt to look into the situation.... When we went to check out, again I had to wait awhile for them to get off of their cell phones to help me...

Days Inn Williamsburg Colonial Area

Posted Mar 26, 2015
Pros: Location
Cons: Do not harass people trying to convince them to see properties on sale.
Location: Perfect location. Short distance to the university, pedestrian area, and historical area.
We use to stay at this location often in the past. We stopped booking this property because every single time we arrive, there is a lady sitting at a table with brochures in the lobby that tries to hook you up for a trip visiting properties for sale. It is really annoying. We stayed at this hotel the last time, just for location convenience according to our plans for our short trip. We will try to avoid it as much as possible for future trips. In the room there was no sugar and cream for the coffee. The breakfast is very, very poor.
