Comfort Inn Gateway is very clean, has an excellent hot breakfast, and great rates. One chilly evening my heat would not work. The young lady at the front desk could offer no solution including moving to another room. Since I was leaving the next day, I had no viable choice but to stay and be cold. I am a repeating guest; I was disappointed.

Wonderful for family
We were greeted as soon as we walked through the doors. Check in was quick and she answered all of our questions. She even told us about a wonderful Italian restaurant near by. Our suite was amazing! The suite we were given was so spacious. Our suite was immaculately clean! The suite even smelled very fresh and clean. We also enjoyed the breakfast during our stay. I definitely would recommend this hotel.

Customer service was great- the room was clean overall- the stains in chairs kinda disturbing- the stains in mattress pad kinda scary- I guess good thing the sheets covered it- The noise of peeps annoying but out of there control- Will say at least the staff was always friendly when questions asked- kinda weird that I couldn’t get a breakdown of my bill.

Everything was fine until they took the extra $50 out of my account. The gentleman at the desk refused to accept the fact that it had happened. However the General Manager handled well and I was very appreciative of him and the rest of the staff during our stay.

When we couldn't find a room at the hotel chains we usually book, we found an availability at the Comfort Inn. A little reluctant at first, especially with the price/night so low, I decided to book a room after looking at the reviews. It truly was as good as other's say. It was very clean, very friendly staff, the beds were comfortable and breakfast buffet wasn't bad ( that is, for a free breakfast buffet :-) ). Considering you are going to Williamsburg to visit the sites and not going for a resort vacation, this was a great place to stay at a very good price.

The hotel was clean and centrally located to all local area activities and restaurants. Our hotel room was clean and comfortable. The hotel had some cosmetic blemishes, but it looks like they are working on repairing these items. I did not see any bugs, mold or smell any foul odors in my room or common areas. The staff from check in, housekeeping, and breakfast workers were friendly and accommodating. The hotel had a very nice hot breakfast with sausage, eggs, waffles, cereal and etc. My family and I would definitely stay again.
