DISAPPOINTED :(

Posted Feb 19, 2015
Pros: MARIO
Cons: SEE PROBLEMS ABOVE
HILTON BEING A WELL KNOW ESTABLISHMENT WAS VERY DISAPPOINTING... I WILL NOT RECOMMED THIS FACITLY TO ANYONE I KNOW OR WILL I EVER WANT TO STAY THERE AGAIN. THE BATHROOM TOILET WAS NOISY WHEN FILLING UP, AND DID NOT FLUSH WELL. THE VENTILATION IN THE HOTEL WAS NOT GOOD. BEING A NON SMOKER. THE NOISE OUTSIDE WAS LOUD AND DISTRUBING. JUST NOT A GOOD EXPERICENCE....MARIO WAS VERY HELPFUL IN HELPING US CHANGE ROOMS..DUE TO THE HEATER NOT WORKING IN THE FIRST ROOM...AFTER TRAVELING OVER 6 HOUR THE LAST THING YOU WANT TO DO IS GET TO YOUR ROOM ONLY TO FIND OUT THE HEATER IS NOT WORKING AND YOU HAVE TO MOVE TO ANOTHER ROOM.

Pros: Liked location and quietness
Cons: Turn up hot water heater
Location: Excellent location in the middle of everything
It was a very pleasant stay. The only negative comment I have is the water for bathing was not hot only tepid.

Friendly staff and good place for dogs

Posted Dec 8, 2014
Pros: The staff was friendly
Cons: See comments above. Also the router was not strong enough to be effective in the room. We had to go the lobby to use our computers.
Location: Williamsburg, a great tourist attraction, although we were not there on a vacation. This hotel is not very close to the historic district.
We chose this place because it accepted dogs. Dining room was only open on weekend and breakfast was not included. The bed and pillows were good but other things were shabby-- like the mirror in the bathroom in which the backing was worn off in spots. The worst thing was the extremely noisy heat and cooling system-- the kind that goes on and off with tremendous explosive sound. I wanted just the continuous fan sound but the system didn't have that. A nice maintenance man tried to fix the unit but was unable to. So I bought a heater/fan at Walmart to provide white noise and we kept the room's unit off.

This is a run down facility. Poorly maintained. Extremely poor kitchen service.

Last minute hotel stay

Posted Oct 20, 2014
Pros: The beds were comfortable
Cons: NO SMOKING in the hotel period. The smell is unbearable & for people with allergies it makes for an uncomfortable stay
Location: This hotel is very close to restaurants and the outlets
I booked this hotel because I decided late to stay the night during William & Mary Homecoming. It's close to the outlets, which is fine but a bit farther from the school than I normally stay. The first impression of the room was it smelled like smoke. This is a hotel that apparently allows smoking in some of their rooms. Very disappointing that any Holiday Inn would still be allowing this. The staff offered to come & use a de-ionizer (??) for the smell but it would have inconvenienced me to leave the room for an hour while they did so and there were no other rooms available. Needless to say I will not stay here again & could not wait to leave the next morning. On a side note this hotel also has a train track across the street & you can hear the trains running all through the day, evening & night.

Ok but could be better. More expensive than it's worth.

Have stayed in mostly Holiday Inns - definitely will not stay at this location again - outdated, needs remodel, room not good and way over priced!

Posted Aug 11, 2014
The staff was very nice. The hotel was clean and very well maintained. It is very close to restaurants and shopping. The only thing we really did not like was the air condetioner did not work good and the beds were hard.
