Looks are not everything!!Posted Oct 20, 2013
Hotel staff has a big lack of customer service! Their service in person is as bad as they are on the phone! The room was "cleaned" terribly and was not even worth the $58 that I paid!!

Affordable accommodations near shopping outletsPosted Oct 14, 2013
Pros: The hotel is in a quiet location and the "continental" breakfast was more than I had expected from accommodations in this price range.
Cons: Only one person was manning the desk during a busy (Friday afternoon) check-in period.
Location: The hotel is right next to one outlet mall (easy walking distance) and close to others; the historic district, and Busch Gardens short drives away.
I spent only one night. The room was clean and comfortable, basic amenities--no cups left with the coffee service only a minor complaint. There was a slight problem with my Expedia reservations, but it was cleared up speedily by the friendly desk clerk. Location is good for the outlet malls, but a bit distant from historic area and Busch Gardens. The luxury has faded, but the price is right and it is good for someone looking for overnight or just sleeping accommodations, and excellent for families travelling on a budget. (A large family could probably save enough on breakfast to pay for the night's stay.)

Staff not helpful when learned of booking with Hotels.com. Room had nonfunctioning hottub which was not mentioned at checkin. Also, some lamps did not work.

Never stay herePosted Sep 11, 2013 on Hotels.com
The stay was horrible. The gym is located on the 2nd floor above the lobby. Everyday my buddy and I would go workout and the manager would come up and tell us to stop working out because we Re making to much noise. Are u serious???? What else is going to happen when us lifting weights. 2nd the pool was gross. It felt like the room was 100 degrees the pool was unenjoyable. The breakfast they serve is the worst I've ever seen. The bread was stale and the cereal sat out all day and night. The worst part of it all was the manager himself who refused to give his name. We left after the 2nd night because of how rude and unprofessional he was. He was making racial comments and even called the cops on us because we needed an extra key to our room. Take my advise NEVER stay here. Plenty of other hotels down the street

Convenient location for last-minute stayPosted Sep 7, 2013
Pros: Convenient location. Friendly staff.
Cons: Renovate the bathroom(s) and hallways, new carpets too.
The hotel was in poor condition with old, worn furniture and fixtures. The bathroom was beat up and maintained very shoddily. However, it seemed clean enough and the bed was comfortable, staff was friendly and helpful, and it served the purpose of providing a conveniently located place to stay when we decided to spend the night as a last minute decision.

Just needed a place to crash for the night.Posted Sep 2, 2013
Pros: Price and availability.
Cons: Hotel could use better maintenance and upgrading of facilities including a flatscreen TV.
Location: Close to Williamsburg and outlet stores.
Last minute decision to stop over for the night. OK for the money. One pillow good, and the other flat, had to double it over to be thick enough. Room dingy, and window very dirty, note on bathtub "jacuzzi not operable". Breakfast consisted of juice, coffee, danish toast, and cereal. Didn't expect too much for the price.....
