“right next door to a outlet store!”

liked the hotel, except for the jazzicu in the room, was dissappointed...

“Disappointing”

I booked the room based on website information about an indoor swimming pool open all year and of a restaurant on premises. Upon checking in, I noted the sign for the pool and restaurant and inquired with the desk clerk about their hours. I was advised that the pool was indoor but was seasonal and already closed because it was not heated and the restaurant had been closed for 3 years. Also, they did not offer breakfast, free or otherwise. i must have had a disappointed look on my face because he told me the website stated as such. I saw no such thing. And once I was in my room, while looking through the notebook for the hotel, it even mentions that the pool is heated and open year 'round. The room was ok. Nothing fancy, but did have a slightly weird smell. The bathtub looked like an old jaciuzzi tub (but based on the looks of it, was afraid to try). It could have used some work. The price was good, but the hotel was unimpressive.

“O would stay there again”

We were on a shopping trip so we just needed a place to sleep. We were very impressed with the motel. The breakfast met our need. The room was very clean and so were the linens. We had a very good night's rest. We couldn't find any fault with our stay and would not hesitate to visit there again.

We enjoyed the outlet shopping as we found several things that aren't available in our home town. We also enjoyed the food at two different restaurants which were near the motel.

“Good Value for the Money”

The staff was very attentive upon arriving. Room had few insects (spider, bug in heating/cooling system) that had to be disposed of. Overall, great value for the money.

“couldn't wait to check out”

very poor maintenance on the hotel, elevator certificate expired 7/26/11. the hallways had NO air-conditioning they were humid and hot. On the website it said rooms had jaccuzi tubs, they had tubs non-functioning jaccuzi tubs our vanity in the bathroom was hanging so low off the wall my 2 year old grandson could reach it. The back door to the hotel had a card reader, that broke 2 days after we were there, they propped the door open with a wet floor sign. Anyone could have access to the hotel through the back door. One of the doors in front of the hotel was tied closed with a black extention cord. Trash cans in the hallways always had the lids off. There was a bad oder in the hall as well. I went to the fitness room it was HOT no air, the treadmill was unplugged and very old and dirty. Went downstairs for the continental breakfast no hot water for the oatmeal. The reason I was given was no one had asked for hot water so they didn't put any in the machine. This is a dumpy hotel. I had coffee in our room the coffee pot was never cleaned once i used it, the packet of coffee was replaced but that was it. The blanket on our bed had 2 large holes and 2 dime size holes Yuck Yuck Yuck

“Nice Hotel in Lightfoot, Va”

We came and stayed in because of Hurricane Irene ..... Had a great time with family and friends ..... bucket of chicken from KFC .... Played in the indoor pool, Watched cable music videos, and it was all good ..... Thank God we never lost lights, but the hotel next door did. Thank you for the nice stay ..... Home away from Home .....

“great rates!”

The hotel was in need of some work. The beds were very uncomfortable. The price was great, so it made up for it. Would stay again.
