Check-in was easy. However, the staff wanted to have us go to their 120 minute pitch for time shares even though we were staying there for two nights. They only called us once to remind us of a pitch meeting, but we were too busy to bother. The rooms and bathrooms were clean. The furniture was run down. The property did have laundry which was convenient on a road trip. We were close to Busch Gardens and Colonial Williamsburg. Great places to eat in nearby downtown Williamsburg. We have stayed at many Expedia properties. This property was average, but convenient for a short stay in the area.

The property and staff onsite are wonderful! However, beware that this resort is a timeshare community and they will trick you into going to the 120 minute pitch. Again. The sales person was wonderful. If you are not interested in a timeshare or taking time out of your trip to deal with salespeople, don’t stay here.

Great place to stay to fell right at home
Easy check in. The rooms were in excellent condition and made it a home away from home experience. Felt very comfortable and relaxing. My family enjoyed the game room above the registration area.

I had paid in advance, but when I got there I was told I had not paid and was charged twice. On the up side when I returned to the desk it was corrected, but I felt rushed at check-in when I was trying to explain I had in fact paid. Our room was LOUD. You could hear the people upstairs from us.

The suite was large, clean, and nicely done. The only problems we had were, we were not aware that this was a time share and we were going to get a sales pitch as soon as we checked in. Did not find anything stating that it was a time share in our reservation information. The second problem was, checkout was 10:00 am. Our keys were deactivated before 9:00 am.

This property was close to my family about 3 minutes away. I was very disappointed for the money I shelled out for this property! What I didn't like that I had bugs in my unit I let the front office know about it and nothing happened. However I took video and pictures of the bugs, this was my first time staying here and will not be staying at Parkside again!

No Interest in Time Share
My only complaint was the pressure to attend a time share pitch. I was tired after driving and didn't need someone selling me time shares. The sales rep was nice but real pushy.

Being able to stay at a “condo” for this price was amazing. Full kitchen, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and a patio too. We didn’t get to use the pool because we spent lots of time at the parks, but it looked great. They had lots of games to take back to room. It’s super convenient to Water Country USA, Busch Gardens and Colonial Williamsburg. There’s a Wawa and a Grocery Store just down the road. It worked out perfect! The only downfall is the train that goes by early in the morning (5am, 6am and 7 am) blowing it’s whistle. It did wake us on the Friday morning, but did not wake our son. It didn’t come by as early on Saturday or Sunday. Overall I’d recommend this place for a short or long stay.

The only thing I was not crazy about was that I booked this not knowing it was a time share property and before we could access our parking pass, we had to sit through a 15 minute shpeal about coupons, maps, if we were married, was our spouse there, would we sit through a 2 hour sales pitch for a gift card..

This is my second year at this property. Overall, I enjoy it - it's very comfortable having a condo and having plenty of space for everyone. The game room is great, the pool area is fun, and the staff is very friendly. This year, however, I was disappointed with the level of cleanliness. It wasn't *amazing* last year, but it was doable. This year, the pool wasn't clean. There was black algae all around the pool, which is treatable. The kids still went in the pool but the adults opted out, which was unfortunate. Also, the condo itself could've used a little extra TLC. The dishwasher didn't run properly - the detergent compartment wasn't opening and emptying properly so things didn't clean right. Things in the kitchen could've been cleaner. It doesn't seem that they ever mop the HW or tile floors, and I don't think they have a proper vacuum for the hard surfaces either. One miss I notice both years is inside the shower - I don't think anyone ever cleans the grout lines (literally ever) on the underside of the area where you step into the shower. It is BLACK, while the grout is supposed to be white. Another problem was the mattress in the primary bedroom - it was sinking on both sides of the bed so we were relatively uncomfortable this year (last year it was only sinking on one side). I would like to try the resort again next year, but it will be largely dependent upon reviews I read as the time approaches. Overall, we loved the location and feeling of a home vs. hotel.

Fantastic option in Williamsburg!
Our family of 5 stayed in one of the Presidential houses and it was fantastic. Very highly recommended. It was very clean, comfortable, spacious, and well-appointed with excellent customer service. What is great about this resort is they get the little things right. The shed for throwing out bagged trash and recycling was well organized, clean and with fresh trash bags lining the bins. Congrats to management and everyone who works there for keeping things to a high standard during what I can imagine is limited staff.

2 BR Prem. All beds comfortable, including sofa bed. Lots of storage in every room. Three TVs and one DVD player. Each BA had extra set of towels; foot towel; makeup mirror; blow dryer; hooks/bars to hang towels. Showerheads not great; master BA had large shower stall but half was wide open so it was freezing w/ bad showerhead. Fridge a bit tricky to access because of chairs around island, but small price to pay for large seating area. Freezer had icemaker; kitchen fully equipped. Provided 2 rolls of paper towels, spray cleaner, small bottle of dish soap, small dish sponge, some dishwasher detergent. Washer & dryer stackable, behind a door in foyer. I am a clean freak; was about as pleased with the cleanliness as *I* could be, though HW & tile floors didn’t seem to be mopped. Carpeting in BRs; no stains. Sofa bedding stored well so I felt it was clean. Property safe & pretty. Back of units face tree lines (golf course behind tree line); path goes from end to end & there are grills along the path. Game room uncrowded; plenty of activities. Fitness center clean & adequate for decent workout. Public restrooms at game room & pool were clean (pool included showers). Pool area had plenty of seating & tables, water felt great, fun slide, they provide towels. Train tracks across street, behind tree line; heard it a few times but not disruptive. Great location – everything we did was within 15 minutes of the property. Got to watch Busch Gardens’ fireworks display from front patio.

My most recent trip to VA was great. I was able to find great deal to this wonderful resort. My kids were so happy that they got to say in the suit and had their own room and bathroom. Overall the VA trip was great until I got home and unpacked I realized that my daughters phone was missing then remembered that I forgot to check one of the room before checking out.
