“Good cheap place”

I just needed a place to stay the night for an early meeting in Williamsburg and it did the job. It was a low price and a comfortable room. They first gave me a smoking room at first, but were able to change me to a non-smoking room. The room was nice and comfortable. It was pretty quiet since I was in a room in the back away from the main road. The only downside was that it was obvious the door had been forced open at some point and it was only partly repaired. The door locked fine and I felt safe, but part of the door frame was still exposed, etc. Just wasn't pretty... It was easy to get to and close to the touristy stuff with restaurants close. I ate at the Mexican place right next door, but I don't recommend it. Nothing horrible about it, just not that great.

Area recommendations

I wasn't there for touristy stuff, but did end up eating brunch in old town Williamsburg and it was really nice. Also the Busch Gardens Christmastown is really worth visiting. Chik-Fil-A has coupons I'm told :)

“Exactly what you expect for an inexpensive place”

I was satisfied. The room was clean. A couple cosmetic blemishes but for what this room cost I feel I got value. I have paid a lot more in Williamsburg and that was fine, I got more. For this trip I wanted a cheap room close to Colonial Williamsburg and that's what was provided.

“Great Stay”

Staff was a overzealous but friendly. Room was very comfortable. Busy atmosphere at night.

Area recommendations

I would definitely recommend this area as a tourist because it has access to alot of shopping/traveler needs in this area. (Such as grocery store, department stores, thrift stores, gas, etc.) The area is a quiet neighborhood. Reminded me of home neighborhood. Not too far from Richmond Road which is wonderful for an abundance of dining choices.

“You get what you pay for”

The room was comfortable enough, but looked like it could use a good cleaning. The location was convenient to everything we were wanting to go to. I'd stay here again, if only for the location and price. The staff was pretty friendly as well.

“Good for the price!”

I can't complain about this hotel for the price I payed for. The room was clean, good location, etc. The only issue was a non-working toilet, but as soon as I told them it was fixed immediately. Would stay here again for sure...

“Good for budget travelers”

We liked this hotel and it was great for a one night stay. We were on a budget so it wasn't the best quality but it was good for what we paid for. It did have free wifi, a fridge and a microwave in our room. The pillows were flat though and the walls were kind of thin. For two college girls traveling alone though, it was fine. The breakfast was lacking in options. They only had two cereals, donuts and toast.

“yes would stay again”

nice older hotel /stayed in back was quite there in the back/buschgardens/ colonly wills right there and easy to get to. could add a few more items to breakfest buffet/ but was still good. room was cleaned everyday/ room was bigger then some weve stayed in. overall very nice. pool was up and clean and bigg enough to have fun.

“Really cheap, clean, but noisy...”

The hotel was one of those old styles with a window on the front of the room by the door. It was noisy at night and people were loitering on the walkways overlooking the parking lot, which make some people uncomfortable. I never felt in danger however. It was decently clean. It was ok for a cheap stay as the price was really low. I would stay again if budget was the primary concern, but if I had my family with me I would skip it.
