Williamsburg Virginia Travelodge on Bypass Road

Posted Aug 12, 2014
The hotel staff were great and tried to please and accomodate any request. . The rooms furniture was dated and had an old type TV (not flat screen) The bed sheets were clean and changed regularly, however they did not fit the mattress correctly and the bottom sheet would always come out and hang aside of the bed. The rooms were cleaned daily and towels changed. The towels were abit thin All in all it was an o.k. motel and reasonably priced. t

Nice location

Posted Aug 11, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Housekeeping need to put more effort and attention to details
Location: Close to Historic Williamsburg and Bush Gardens
Unfortunately carpets were very dirty as well as bathroom, specially the toilet. Breakfast area was very small for the qty of rooms available. It was very crowded and difficult to eat and enjoy breakfast.

Good budget hotel

The bed was horrible, poor fitting sheets, cheap mattress. Pool was impressive, kids loved it. Would rate this hotel much higher if they upgraded the beds.

close and cheap

The hotel was in a good location...lots of other hotels to choose from in Dane area though. This hotel needs some updating and if it's a non smoking room, don't put bedding with burn holes on as you enter the room...creepy, dirty feeling. Pool is great for a late night yeast for the kids...they stay open till 10 and in the rain too.

Family four day weekend trip

Well located near attractions and shopping, tough entrance to maneuver with traffic. Suite/ double rooms a great value with family of five needing space. Breakfast simple and crowded but serviceable. Outdoor pool fine. Rooms clean but a bit run down.

Pros: Free breakfast, near to nice places to eat, price.
Cons: Put in a larger capacity air conditioner.
Location: Short distance from Jamestown and colonial Williamsburg.
The first night was not pleasant when a power transformer went out during a summer storm. The rest of the time was fairly nice for sleeping and sightseeing during the day. Free light breakfast and coffee 24-7. Easy to find and easy access to main roads. Plenty of places to eat within short walking distance. Fairly large swimming pool. Price is right.
