rough start, great stay

Posted Apr 27, 2015
Pros: location, location, location
Cons: unfortunately they have become a convention facility so many of the personal touches have been lost.
Location: the historic area is delightful , local restaurant are great
Concierge could not find our tickets for evening shows and blamed us for not saving the confirmation number. Fortunately our credit card company came through and confirmed the purchase When they found out, front desk personnel were apologetic and worked hard to make the rest of the stay perfect. everything else was absolutely wonderful

Great Hotel - Close to Colonial Williamsburg

Posted Apr 19, 2015
Very nice historic hotel within walking distance to Colonial Williamsburg. Staff was excellent! Room was small, but had an outside patio that was perfect to sit out and have a glass of wine. Highly recommend if you want to be close to sightseeing. They also have a great discount on multi-day passes to Colonial Williamsburg. It was a nice surprise at the ticket booth!

Overall, very nice. Bar food not the greatest. Room very nice, but bed and pillows need an update.

Pillows were lumpy and hard. Marriott provides a few pillow firmness options in the room, and I would have really appreciated this option.

Great lication

Love it there! So convenient to everything. Concierge were not much help outside of Colonial Williamsburg dining options. Pool should have service knowing it is spring break.

Spent two days in Williamsburg and stayed at the Inn. The amenities were beautiful though the staff at breakfast was a bit slow. Overall, don't be in a hurry and you will find this experience to be great.

We plan to return.

Pros: Classy atmosphere all about. It's close to the best shopping and Old Town Williamsburg. Food in the dining room is excellent and the staff are nice.
Cons: The toilet is low to the floor...and small. Nothing else needs to be improved. I'm not into early American décor but this was tastefully done.
Location: Best shopping is within two blocks. Old Town Wmsburg is 1/2 block away. Walking around is very pleasant.
We went to see a friend but wanted to stay in a nicer place than we have stayed in the past...so we splurged a litte more and were very happy with what we got for our money.

Great Place to Stay for Valentine Get Away

Posted Mar 3, 2015
Pros: Being a short walk away fro. Colonial Williamsburg.
Location: In addition to Colonial Williamsburg Jamestown and Yorktiwn are just a short drive away.
The staff was very helpful and accommodating, even making sure the roses I had ordered where waiting for us in the room. Being so close to Colonial Williamsburg is very convenient, it was nice to be able to wander over in the evening or early morning.
