“Nice place to stay”

We stayed in Danville to take my son to Geisinger for tests. We were given a Valentine's gift at check-in, which was very thoughtful. The room was very clean, especially the bathroom, which is very important to me. The hotel was quiet and comfortable. We enjoyed the pool for two hours--the water was clean and the temperature was perfect. Given the reason we were there, it was an enjoyable stay. If we need to go back, we will most likely stay there again.

“A Nice Respite in Danville”

If you have a patient at the Geisinger Medical Center, this Best Western is a great respite for you to get away from the hospital. It is a very clean, quiet, and comfortable hotel with nice amenities. Although we did not have time to use the swimming pool, it was nice to know it was there. The complementary breakfast was really nice; it allowed us to have a good breakfast without rushing around to find somewhere else to eat before returning to the hospital. The hotel was very clean - both in appearance and in "smell". Personally, I don't care all that much about the amenities of a hotel; what matters to me is that it is clean and comfortable - both of which are embodied in this Best Western.

“We'll be staying here again!”

The breakfast was great. They had more choices than I thought there would be. The room was huge. We had a toddler with us and they gave us a room over the office. So no one was disturbed by his running in our room. The front desk clerk gave us a battery when we needed one. They also supplied us with garbage bags when we needed them. We brought milk along for my grandson and they let us keep it in the office refrigerator. They were very accommodating. I wish I would have paid more attention to the amenities and brought along swimsuits so my grandson could have swam. I definitely recommend this hotel. We even saved more by using our AAA card. Also free wireless. And lots of channels to choose from on the TV. Kudos!

“Good for what we needed it for.”

We always stay at this hotel when we go to Knoebel's. It's an 8 mile drive, free breakfast and usually an indoor pool. Unfortunately, the pool was broken on this trip and couldn't be used. Very disappointing for my kids. Otherwise, nice, clean room, friendly staff. I'd recommend for the future.

“Good night's stay off I-80 in the middle of snowhere.”

Overall my stay was a good experience. Good review of services available at check-in, comfortable bed. Clean bath. Problem with a snowy night and the fact that one side of the hotel faces the PennDOT maintenance yard. If you stay here, ask for the other side of the building. Breakfast was about the same as most others in the price range-chafing dish of scrambled eggs was cool, otherwise OK.

Well maintained and clean. Too expensive for what you get.

“Paper-thin walls”

Very convenient to Knoebels, the purpose of our trip. Neighbors blasted TV past midnight until 1 am and it might has well been in our own room it was so loud. I advised front desk, but don't think they took any action.

“Nice surprise”

We have not stayed at Best Western so this was the first one for some time. We were pleasantly surprised with the hotel. The room layout was nicer than we expected and clean. Loved the fresh waffles for breakfast!
