“Never again”

We had stayed at this hotel on a previous trip and decided to give it another try because it was reasonably close to Susquehanna Univ. where we were visiting my son. The first thing we noticed on checking into the room was that, although there were 3 in our party, we had only 2 sets of towels. I called the desk, expecting someone to bring more towels and was told that I had to pick them up myself at the front desk --- not that big an issue, but it got worse. Although the hotel advertises free wireless internet, I was unable to "see" any network. I called the desk to ask about it and was told that the internet was working, No offer to look into my problem, no explanation, no apology. The continental breakfast is minimal. My mother-in-law wanted a glass of cold water to take some medication. There was none in the breakfast area, so we asked at the desk, which was adjacent, and were told there was no cold water available. We went out and came back around 2:45 PM, and found that our room had not yet been cleaned. I went to the office to ask about this and was told "we've been very busy." Again, no apology. And on both evenings and both mornings during our stay, the parking lot was very much less than half full. To top it off, although I had requested a non-smoking room, there was a distinct smell of smoke in the room, and my wife noticed that our "non-smoking" room came equipped with two ashtrays! The worst hotel experience I have from a well-known chain. Never again!

“A decent motel at a reasonable price”

The motel room and amenities were as described. A clean, safe, reasonably comfortable lodging at a good price. The continental breakfast buffet is well stocked and a nice beginning to the day. The location is convienient to other restaurants and is off of but close to Rt. 80. Would definitely stay here again.

“It was only one night...”

But I hope to not repeat it. We were a little uncomfortable when asked to present our card so they could make an impression of it. Upon arriving at the room, the carpet met us outside - it was frayed at the doorway. Inside, the pillows were not as I've ever seen in a hotel. They were not covered by the comforter - it looked as though someone had been leaning on them. The sheets seemed clean, but the pillow cases were questionable. There was a wet washcloth hanging over the shower curtain bar. The towels were clean, the water pressure was good and the TV worked. We opted not to try the breakfast.. When we return to the area, we will be sure to make reservations earlier to stay closer to our destination - and not here.

“OK for the money”

For the price of the room, the hotel was decent. The room was small, but it was clean. The hotel is old and needs new carpeting and bathrooms. My only complaint was the bathtub. It was old and refinished, but the finish was peeling. It also didn't drain very well. We didn't spend any time in the room aside from sleeping there so it met our needs.

“Days Inn Lewisburg”

Nothing spectacular! fitness room could use some newer equiptment- room was clean, though dated, carpet needs to be changed= free breakfast was a nice xtra-

“Dont Stay Here”

Check-in was a chore. They stated our card was denied and needed payment, but we prepaid via Expedia (this happened to several people). The staff was rude, and the newer staff were left on their own. Our room key was only set up for 1 day, even though we were booked for 3 nights. The staff wouldn't even restock the 'Limited " breakfast bar. Other people staying at the hotel were making the coffee. The front desk was to busy watching movies on their laptops to help anyone. There were several sports teams that had early morning events and most hotels would open the breakfast bar early, but not here, even though they only served toast, bagels, cereal and fruit. We asked for a nonsmoking room, and ended up with a room that smelled like smoked wet dog. The carpet was worn, and the tack strips were exposed making it a hazard. Only some rooms have microwaves and fridges. One day they only made one bed. We had to repeatedly ask for additional towels. The showers were recently resurfaced and the material was peeling off already. I will NOT be staying at this hotel again.

“Great Experience!”

My room was very clean and had all the amenities that you could ask for when staying away from home..loved the coffee maker in the room..not to mention the fridge and microwave.. Restful atmosphere. Will definitely stay again if I'm in the area.Thanks.

“Nice room, uncomfotable beds”

Overall very nice hotel, pet friendly with no extra charges for pets. Room was clean and tidy. Only complaint was that the beds were too soft and therefore uncomfotable.

“Just as I hoped it would be.”

Location and convience to eateries and the function we attended were excellent.
