“Close to family”
I chose this hotel because it was the only hotel in Willis, and very close to family we were there to visit, and also the Texas Renaissance Fair. It was decent enough, there was a bed, a tv, microwave, and minifridge. We got a smoking room which i would not recommend, it smelled very bad. It is an older hotel with a little wear and tear.
“Pleasant Staff”
This wasn't my first stay at this motel. The staff are some of the nicest of any place I've ever stayed. Clean rooms, decent breakfast, etc... My one complaint is the same as my last stay: smoker's have to stay on the second floor. And with no elevator (and my being disabled), it's difficult to say the least. All-in-all it is a good place to stay.

“Decent motel”
There were only two problems: It's a bit difficult to get to and smoker's have to stay on the second floor. Being disabled...that made getting up and down pretty hard. Other than those things I had a pretty decent stay. When the price is right I'll stay again.
“wedding”
was on that side of town for a family wedding. decided to stay over night instead of making the long drive back home. great!
“Basic, Clean, Quiet, good location”
The hotel looks to be about 10-15 years old. It is located on the west side of Hwy 75 approximately 55 miles north of downtown Houston and 5 miles north of Conroe at a major interception with food and limited shopping. The Hotel is clearly visible from the highway but far enough away that road noise is not a problem. The hotel room was clean and the TV, refrig, and microwave all worked. There is a McDonalds about 1/2 block to the north which is good because the complimentary breakfast is almost limited to cereal and sweet rolls. The motel room doors face the outside parking lot. I prefer the doors to open to an inside hallway. The motel also has an outside pool.
“Not Impressed”
The carpet in the room was filthy & the bathroom had several maintenance issues. The free continental breakfast was closed before 9 AM.
