Nice hotelPosted Sep 25, 2014
Stayed for two nights in September.- Was our base for exploring Chicago which is 30 minutes away. Room was a bit cramped as the jacuzzi bath took up most of the room so there was limited seating space and the shower/steam room wasn't to our liking as you couldn't seem to get under the shower head. Also the room had no windows and combined with the black granite surface was very "enclosing" and there were various rose petals around the room which suggested the vacuum hadn't been pushed into all the corners. However this aside, the bed was comfortable and the desk staff were very helpful especially when the toilet was blocked. Restaurants nearby.- would recommend driving into Chicago as teh trains from the nearby train station were limited after 10am.

OkPosted Sep 22, 2014
Pros: This would be cute for honeymooners
Cons: Paint job?
Pro's: Clean, quiet, cute, free parking, free wifi, polite staff Cons: Looks very different in person vs pictures. Paint is chipping in lots of areas of the room, robes were wet, no windows in entire room.

Good place for afternoon delightPosted Sep 19, 2014
Pros: It was discreetly located
Cons: Internet was poor
Location: Nothing within walking distance
Unfortunately I was by myself and this place was made for amorous couples.

won't try next timePosted Sep 19, 2014
Pros: the steam bath
I checked in about 8 pm. It was all dark and no lights on premises. The room was OK- but the bed seemed already used and were not clean. Not at all a business hotel.

Outstanding ValuePosted Sep 13, 2014
Located in a quiet residential neighborhood just off i55, a 30 minute drive to downtown Chicago. Rather than fight the traffic, we chose to drive 4 miles north to Clarendon Hills and rode the train into town each day. I would highly recommend commuting by train, as it only costs about $10/person roundtrip, there are trains coming and going every half hour or so, and meter parking in Clarendon Hills was $1 per 4 hrs. Spend the day seeing the city, soak all night in your own personal hot tub yay!

Hidden Romantic GetawayPosted Sep 8, 2014
Pros: The shower! Just awesome! The whirlpool was also good. The bed was really comfortable also.
Cons: The continental breakfast. The bananas were almost completely black and the rest did not look much more appetizing.
Location: Honestly its near Chicago, IL. There are a ton of things to do. We personally had gone to the Shedd Aquarium and then ate at Capri for dinner!
From the pictures we had seen we thought this would be a hotel. When we pulled up to a bunch of town houses, we wondered if we were in the right place. This place had a cozy feel to the outside that let it blend in to the suburban area it is tucked into. Then when we got in the room we were even more amazed at the upscale romantic feel the room gives off. The glass door shower was probably the best part - three different style shower heads that you could use all at the same time, plus it is a sauna room! The whirlpool was huge and relaxing. We were amazed at the humidity control in the room also. The mirrors surrounding the whirlpool didn't even fog a little when we where in the tub. It was just even better than the pictures I had looked at online. Made for an awesome 1st Wedding Anniversary getaway for my husband and I.
