Older motel 1960s style.

Posted Mar 23, 2015
This is an older motel on what used to be the highway. It was nice, clean but very old-fashioned. Reminded me of the places I went to when I was a little girl with my parents. I would recommend this place to stay but there's nothing fancy here. If that's what you want... to stay somewhere else. The man at the front desk was very nice and helpful. Very good value for the money.

Very diappointed for the price- Free bugs in beds

Posted Dec 31, 2014 on Hotels.com
Purchased 2 rooms during long distance move- wasnt expecting much as we only needed a place to sleep however for the 70.00 price per room I would have expected more. I would have paid 70.00 for both rooms but never per each. Rooms are very outdated which is fine if kept clean however carpet in both rooms had huge stains and holes (yes missing pieces of carpet). Beds were really bad and came with free bugs including cockroach in one room and earwig in the other. Hot water heater is very far from rooms so expect it to take a while to reach your room after turning on. Window coverings are filthy like the rest of the room and dont close all the way so everybody can see right in. Not ther best part of this small town without a doubt and we had serious concerns over leaving our loaded vehicles in lot. These rooms are even below the standards I would set as an upgrade to camping if I were hunting the area. I dont require much luxury at all- just a place to sleep however I would not stay here again for near this cost.

Affordable and friendly, but don't expect too much

Posted Dec 12, 2014 on Hotels.com
Staff was very friendly. The room was clean, but very outdated. Biggest problem was that there was not a fitted sheet on the bed, just a roughly tucked in flat sheet that came off during the night.

Clean room, small beddings

Posted Nov 21, 2014
The room was nice and clean, including the bathroom, unfortunately, the queen bad had been fitted with beddings for a full-bed (smaller) so they barely made it around the mattress!

If it wasn't cheap and convenient, it would not be good. Check in was extremely slow and painful. Even though the room was pre-paid, they wanted every bit of personal information that they did not need. At least the room was relatively clean and cheap.

Wouldn't recommend staying here

Posted Sep 15, 2014
Was the last hotel available so i had to stay there. The place was pretty clean i suppose. They included a bar of soap but no shampoo. The towels they provided smelled like smoke. If you can, avoid this hotel.

For Thunderhill, it works...

Posted Sep 9, 2014 on Hotels.com
Extremely basic but clean & comfortable. Probably a tad pricey given where it's at relative to T'hill but overall, good enough for simply sleeping in.

Rooms are small and pricey for what they are

Posted Aug 25, 2014
Pros: The staff were friendly.
Cons: Bigger rooms, bigger beds and cheaper prices.
Location: Thunderhill Raceway
Stayed here for the night with 4 friends for our weekend up to Thunderhill. The parking lot was extremely tiny, so if you have a trailer, it could be difficult finding parking and not blocking in other drivers. For a room that can fit 4 people, the room was extremely small, and pricey! The beds are slightly larger than a twin, so we practically had our shoulders touching if we laid flat on our backs. Also, when we arrived, there were no commodities in the bathroom, just body/hand soap, no shampoo or conditioner or towels. Ice machine was broken when we arrived as well. Although it didn't happen to me, my friend got some bug bites in the morning. I booked this place because Days Inn and Baymont Inn were all booked, this was the cheapest place I could find that had room, but for $87 for 1 night, I would've been happier paying an extra $20 staying in a slightly larger and more comfortable place. Overall experience was less than mediocre, staff was friendly but I did not have a good rest at this place.

Throw Back in time

Posted Aug 11, 2014 on Hotels.com
When you pull up it's like a throw back in time. Cute exterior. Extremely nice couple running the place. Room had been updated very nicely. Bed very nice and comfortable. Only thing that we could say still needs to be done would be the carpet, but it was clean. We would stay here again.
