Didn't like the fact that even though my room was paid for thru the app the wanted to charge me a $100.00 deposit. Which I didn't have at the time it being early morning. So they refused to give me the key. Ended up calling the police on myself and a state trooper and myself found me another hotel... Red roof can go to hell. Never going back

Horrible place to stay if u have standards. We came down from Canada for a funeral. After 13 hours of driving the first room was roach infested they changed us to a second floor room roach after roach. While we were gone for the day they did not clean our room meaning beds made floor mop fresh towels or to pick up the dead roaches off the floor. Not to mention there is never a manager on site a lot of running around just to get a clean towel. Not to mention there’s a whole night club attached to the hotel so imagine after my dads mother funeral to have to drive around just to find parking and then the music all hour of the night. Additionally it’s not a hotel people are living there and the place is so dirty and there’s always people arguing

This place was absolutely disgusting. Yes Bed bugs and roaches. Got my deposit back and waiting on the manager to contact me for my room refund. Checked in at 10:40pm left @ 12am. Was told management will contact me but that was after the night clerk whom I have on video tell me that the manager is too busy to care about a complaint about his property. I have videos and pic on bed bugs and roaches running on walls.

This had to be the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. PET friendly, at check-in I had to post a $100.00 deposit in case our 5 pound yorkie damaged anything. Walk your dog...dog poop everywhere. Want to sleep, between 1:30 AM and 3:30 AM my dog and I slept in the car until my wife called and said the people in room 220 FINALLY stopped playing loud music and shouting. (asked clerk at 1:30 for help, shrugged her shoulders and said "nothing she/I can do") Went out the side door at 1:30, saw a woman rummaging through the garbage in the hallway looking for food??? left over booze....who the hell knows. Door was left unlocked. Take the elevator, (at your own risk) since the stair well is usually taken by people sitting texting or smoking. No pillows, no towels, no ever...ever..go there again.

This hotel was disgusting. It reaked of stale cigarette smoke despite the claim that it is non-smoking. Bathroom fixtures were broken. We checked in, got to our room and immediately checked back out. We asked for a refund as we did not stay and were told we had to ask Hotels.com for the refund. I chatted with a hotels.com representative who informed me that the hotel would need to issue the refund because we paid on site. To date, I have not received a refund and have not been able to get in touch with the manager. Avoid this hotel!

This is the DIRTIEST ROOM I ever booked, Expedia is trash for allowing this to be listed on its platform, ROACHES IN MY ROOM and from some research I found out it’s ROACHES ALL THROUGH OUT THAT PLACE, Toilet was broken and didn’t flush, the sheets and towels had black stains , it smelled like piss and cigarettes. I checked out early when I found ROACHES in the coffee maker. Tried to get a refund and was denied because they can’t get in contact with the piece of crap manager that’s running the location who probably lives there with their family. I had to sleep in the car because of this and wasn’t composited a dime. I will never stay at a RED ROOF location in my life again especially when they let dirty people franchise it that have no morals. I’m disgusted with both RED ROOF and EXPEDIA. NEVER AGAIN because now I’m out of almost $150 dollars for that nightmare getaway

Booked room for family of four. Room had only two towels. Husband went to front desk to get two more towels and lady said it was policy that we only get two towels. We got the towels but she wasn’t nice about it and did not want to give us one towel each- we got the hotel so we could shower after a long day at the dirt race track! One of the Pillows was disgusting - I walked it down to front, also showed her picture of security lock hanging off door. She was bothered, not at all helpful. The room had outlet covers broken and on the floor. Holes in wall and table we moved in front of doors for safety was sticky. (There was a second door connecting to another room and that lock was not secure either). The Bar/restaurant next door was having Halloween party and the music was crazy loud, but the least of the problems for this stay. We checked out early morning and a different woman at the front was kind and apologetic. She took a photo of broken lock and said she would have maintenance take care of it for the next guest. We won’t be staying at another red roof again.

Where do i begin?? First during checkin two couples come down saying there room wasn’t done being cleaned and half bedding with no towels!! Then i get to my room took 5 min to get in because key wasn’t working. Then we get in and it had no couch in room had a big space like they took the other bed out and just left the space. Then we wake up to the fire alarm going off and the whole hallway and our room was flooding. Got my clothes wet and the whole floor wet. And still gave no discount or refund

The club noise was ridiculous. The hallways and air circulation smelled strongly of marijuana & cigarettes. We saw a “deal” of some sort take place in the parking lot. So disappointed and even after we asked to be moved, we were not. Nor did we get a pillow we asked for.

In 50 years of travel, it was the worst hotel that I have ever stayed. Bugs in the room, torn curtains, dirty floor, bathroom dingy, toilet seat was very loose and it could not be tightened. The bedspread was a sheet. Soap for two people was the size of half dollar. No shower liner - the floor was always wet after a shower. This room did not look anything like the room on the web. Trash in the hallway and dim hallways. Our room was not a room you would want to go back to during your stay. We left a day early and I was charged for the extra day. If I could have found a room in the area for Saturday night, I would have moved immediately. I cannot believe this room can fly the Red Roof flag. Obviously, it is not inspected. My brother, was the CEO and President of Cendant hotels (10 chain hotels). He would have disenfranchised this hotel on the spot.

The stay was less thanaverage. When we got there the woman at front desk was eating indian food and it smelled terrible. She was curt and interrupted me. The bed was lopsided and the bedding itched me all night. I guess too much bleach in the sheets made them rough and not comfortable. Nice room but no thank you.
The room was large and very clean. No one informed us of a $100 deposit we had to pay at check in on top of the room fee. They also never informed us that there was a nightclub next door which played loud music until very late in the night. Housekeeping did not come to clean our room and when we asked for clean towels we were told we could have one because we needed to ask in the morning. If you put the key card near a phone it resets and you can’t access your room. The front desk has to reprogram it and they require ID - which is no good if it’s locked in the room. Not the end of the world, but annoying. For the price it was ok, but we won’t be back.

This motel is located behind a cemetery on a dead end road. The only options for food within walking distance are the vending machines. Stayed here because I was on a budget. Do not recommend unless you’re homeless, have an extra $60 and want a roof over your head. Just plain Gross! The smell in the hallways were gagging, other guests were especially loud and disrespectful, guests openly using drugs outside, domestic fights in the parking lot….if you’re broke… stay here. They did have hot water and a chair to use as extra security under the door handle though.
