Great hotel with restaurants in walking distancePosted Jul 16, 2014
We had a late check in after a long day at a lacrosse tournament. At check in we were told our room had been upgraded. What a wonderful surprise! Two bedroom suite with separate bathrooms worked great for my teenage daughter!

Little far from tournament location but worth the drive. Nice outdoor pool and great breakfast in the AM. Friendly staff & very clean rooms. Great stay for the price I paid with Expedia. Would definitely stay again.

Close to Brandywine River Mus. & Longwood GardensPosted May 28, 2014
Location: Brandywine River Museum, Longwood Gardens, and antique stores.
Homewood Suites was very convenient for our needs - 2 adults in bedroom and one on the pullout couch. The staff was freely and helpful; and the hot, buffet-style breakfast was excellent. All of this for a very affordable price. Homewood Suites are at the top of our list.

Terrific suite hotel close to local attractionsPosted Apr 15, 2014
Pros: clean, neat, good value
Location: convenient to Brandywine Valley attractions
We chose this hotel because of the suites and the free breakfast and dinner. Condition was excellent, staff very friendly and location superb for visiting Brandywine Valley attractions such as Winterthur, Longwood Gardens, Wilmington De waterfront, etc. There are several good chain restaurants right in the same complex of hotels and the location is just off a convenient major through road, but behind the hotel there are nature trails and beautiful rolling countryside. This hotel would be ideal for families with its full kitchen facilities and suite set-up. We'll definitely stay there again.

Great gathering place for family get-together.Posted Apr 7, 2014
Pros: Kitchen furnished to meet all needs.
Cons: Can't think of a thing.
Location: Looked like restaurants and shops were near by and easy to get to.
Suite was spacious and well laid out. It was a cozy and comfortable stay which rates it as one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in.

Excellent hotelPosted Mar 24, 2014
Pros: Very clean and neat. Employees were all courteous.
Cons: I didn't notice anything during my stay that needed improvement.
Location: The hotel is located near a strip of chain restaurants (i.e. Chillis, Red Lobster, etc.).
The room was exactly as advertised, and everything was clean and spotless. We had requested a crib a few days prior to check-in and it was in the room when we arrived. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area, and I plan to stay there again myself.
