Very nice hotel in the heart of Wilmington.Posted Oct 21, 2013
Pros: Room was clean, the hotel staff was very pleasant. They had a buffet breakfast in the morning which had a large variety of items to choose from.
Location: Close to Christiana Mall Close to many restaurants (Lone Star, Olive Garden, Famous Dave's)
We were in Wilmington for a fall foliage trip. The hotel was great. Close to everything. We would definitely stay there again. Room was clean and it was quiet. Some hotels are very noisy with kids running around but this is a first rate hotel. We try to stay at Homewood Suites as we haven't had a bad experience yet. It's like home away from home.

Nice Hotel in WilmingtonPosted Sep 23, 2013
Pros: Cleanliness and Polite Staff
Cons: Caulking in the Shower needs to be maintained.
Before booking this hotel at the last minute, I read several reviews. Some noted the unpleasant front desk personnel. My experience did not mimic those reviews. The gentlemen at the front desk was extremely pleasant and helpful. In addition, the staff in the morning was equally polite. The hotel was clean and the was comfortable. The pillows were a little hard, but I like softer pillows. The hotel is 15 minutes from Downtown Wilmington, but not in an isolated area.

Good news, bad newsPosted Sep 4, 2013 on Hotels.com
Homewood Suites is a great place to stay. Rooms are remarkably clean, free breakfast is one of the better around and there is a generally knowledgeable staff. The bad was that when I asked the gentleman checking us in if he had any recommendations where to go in Wilmington he told me there was nothing interesting to do and the next day when my boyfriend and I asked for a dinner recommendation he sent us to what might generously be called a questionable area. FYI the Brandywine Valley and Wilmington area have lots of great places to visit... thank goodness for the free WiFi

We love it.Posted Sep 1, 2013
The hotel is clean, roomy, the bed is comfortable. It also has hot coffee, tea available 24 hours, free. The staffs are very friendly. It also closes to many good restaurants and a shopping center. Shopping is tax free in DE. We enjoy our stay, highly recommend to friends.
