“Not Impressed”

For the price you can get on expedia, I suppose it was worth it. The bed was comfortable, and the room seemed clean. However, the place smelled like wet dog someone tried to cover with gallons of febreeze. The constant hammer of construction noise made for short nerves. I could have done without seeing the 'Prompt Action Termite and Pest Control' truck parked outside the next day...

“Extremely Satisfied”

Very pleasant stay, hotel was nice and bright, great lobby and delicious full breakfast. Delightful staff, extremely helpful with requests and questions, loved the location right off the interstate and across from Christiana Mall. Will definitely stay here again on my next trip through the area.

Area recommendations

Main Street Newark has some great restaurants and shops, Christiana Mall is fantastic, nearby New Castle, DE was also worth a quick drive for some great historic architecture and waterfront trail right on the Delaware River.

Must see

Lots of history in this area, Delaware City and New Castle, DE worth a day trip, great architecture and quite a sight to see the colossal man-made Chesapeake and Delaware Canal.

“Good for the price”

I stayed here during some home renovations and it was good for the price. The room was comfortable and included a microwave and min-fridge and the complimentary breakfast was good. I felt the room was clean but a a bit worn. The staff was friendly and helpful.

“Good for the price”

Front desk service slow. Reserved king and they gave me a double. They did change the room but it took a while. Nice TV and channel selection. Nice free hot breakfast. Good for the price.

“Decent and a good value.”

The staff was nice, the room was comfortable and the price was good. The continental breakfast was fine too. It's not terribly fancy but it's a nice place to stay.

Both the sink and the shower had drainage problems!

“Weak---Stay!”

The hotel does not have an elevator, this made it difficult to carry bags to our room. It was myself and my daughter with her baby. The food in the hotel restaurant had very little variety, unless you like italian food. I would not recommend this hotel for families with children.

Room is OK, lobby has bad smoking smell because it's right next to the Bar, even though ithis s a non-smoking hotel. Breakfast is mediocre.
