Large room, reasonable pricePosted Aug 15, 2014
Pros: Large room, reasonable price
Cons: Spa tub. Bathroom needed updating.
Location: Close to the University.
Large room and reasonable price. However, old building, needed updating. Breakfast same everyday. No spa tub. Worked for us as we knew we would only be there to shower and sleep and was close to the University where we were visiting our son.

CARPET WAS FILTHY. NO EXHAUST FAN IN BATHROOM. BALCONY RAILING COVERED IN BIRD DROPPINGS. OTHER THAN THAT, IT WAS WHAT YOU WOULD EXPECT FROM A LOW END MOTEL

Reminded me of a dormatoryPosted Jul 28, 2014
I enjoyed my over night stay at the hotel. I had an issue when I first got there but the staff was very professional and pleasant and handled the matter immediately. The place definitely needs to be remodeled and the continental breakfast can be enhanced. Other than that, I'd stay there again.

To much trash and dirt.Posted Jul 21, 2014
Before I entered the building for room 177 I saw a trash can at 4pm aprox, overflowing with trash and some beside it. It was the same way at 10pm that night and still there at 8am and 11am the next morning. The bathroom ceiling had a old leak stain all over it. Mold in shower and cobwebs In window seal. There where police in parking lot several time after midnight do to issues in hotel. When this was Howard Hohnsons it was not this way, just last year.

Good hotel close to University of DelawarePosted Jul 2, 2014
Visit to UD. Got there late and left early. Wasn't looking for anything fancy. Room and hotel was clean, breakfast was ok, price was reasonable, no issues with staff.

Wifi service was terriblePosted Jul 1, 2014
Couldn't connect to the wifi and when you did it kicked you off and said there were too many users. The beds were comfortable though and pool was very clean.

Comfortable bed, but not much more.Posted Jun 30, 2014
Pros: Staff was courteous.
I have stayed at many Red Roof Inns over the years for the value and comfort. This inn could use a total overhaul. The room looked superficially clean, dust and hair on the bathroom floor, laundered but stained sheets. Stains on the bathroom wall looked like feces.

AWFUL NOT WORTH ANY MONEY IF U CARE IF IT IS CLEAN!
Very disappointedPosted Jun 16, 2014
I checked in close to 11:00 and was told my room was on the first floor. I was directed to park in a very dark corner of the parking lot, my room was up a full flight of stairs (even though the signs said it was the first floor) and the room was not good--the light switch just inside the door did not work and the lamp over the desk was hanging down the wall held only by the electrical cord. I was moved to a room in the newer building and it was much better except the TV didn't work and I was promised it would be fixed but it was not during the next two days. I will not stay at a Red Roof Inn again.
