Looking for entrancePosted Nov 14, 2013
Pros: The staff was friendly.
Cons: Lights and signs to see the hotel. Breakfast
Location: Newark Delaware.
My experience was bitter sweet. I drove for one hour around the area to find the street. There was no sign to see where I was going and no light. I had to go to Hilton Hotel to ask for help. The Hilton driver had me followed him to the Red Hoof. Ask I received to the office, I was welcome. and helpful.

from the outside I would not have stayed here, but the rooms are clean, modern and comfortable. Second time staying and will re book again

Good option just off I-95 in northern Delaware.Posted Nov 8, 2013
Pros: Location and good value.
Cons: Fluffier towels and cream for the coffee.
Location: Well located off I-95 near Christiana Hospital, UDel, greater Wilmington, Winterthur, Longwood Gardens.
We'd spent the day visiting family in Philadelphia and wanted a comfortable, inexpensive place as a layover rather than driving all the way back to the DC area. This is our second time there. It's a bit tricky to find off a service road. Glad we'd been there before in the daytime. A bonus is the Chili's right next door where you can get a late dinner or a takeout snack. Beds are good, the towels are small, the Kleenex is in pocket packs, and no real cream at the coffee stand in the office. Minor quibbles. Our room had a small microwave and fridge. TV worked fine. Solid B+.

Small rooms but quiet and comfortablePosted Nov 3, 2013
Thanks to a lot of road construction, this place is currently hard to get to. That also means it isn't full and is very quiet. My room faced I-95 but I heard almost no noise. The room was small and the bed took up almost all of it but, as a place to sleep it was great.

Basic AccommodationsPosted Oct 29, 2013
Pros: Proximity to Delaware Park where reunion was held. Accessible from I-95. Clean.
Cons: Needs a refrigerator and coffee maker. Should stock an extra blanket in the room for people who prefer to not use the heater.
Location: Delaware Park is within a mile. It has horse racing and a casino. The U of D is within four or five miles.
This is a basic hotel room. Stayed four days, while attending a HS reunion. The room was small, but clean. The furnishings were average for this class of motel. The king-size bed was firm and had four pillows. The room had a 32" flat screen TV, but no refrigerator or coffee maker. As I was only in the room to sleep, the absence of these two items was tolerable; but a person who actually stayed in the room for more than sleeping would probably prefer a different facility. Although located near major highways, the hotel is situated on a dead-end frontage road with somewhat circuitous access. Absent the construction of a new four-story building next door, the room would have been very quiet. Couldn't sleep late because of the construction noise; however, that should be a short term problem. There are several national-class restaurants in the immediate vicinity. The hotel is about a mile from the entrance to Delaware Park. The entire hotel is a non-smoking facility. I'd recommend this facility only for a short term stay of a day or two.
