great hotel, staff was helpful and they had parking. facilities were nice and there was a restaurant in the hotel

Hotel staff was under trained in customer service.

Location: location is rough. I wouldnt walk around at night alone
I was checking in while the agent next to the person attending to me was losing her temper and raising her voice with a customer. It was so loud I couldnt even hear the person who was checking me in. What was even more disappointing was when the Manager took the call (as escalation) and he too was raising his voice right at the front desk. Put the irate customer on hold and take the call in a private office area (away from guests). The experience really created a very disturbing insight as to the training and mindset not only of the staff but the management as well. This is client services-101 -- you never want to expose guests (who have often traveled a long distance to get to the hotel) to this type of poor service. To make matters worse, once the agent was relived of the call by her manager she proceeded to bad mouth the customer to her co-worker (the person checking me in)... right in front of me! Given the price I paid for my room I thought I was at some 2nd rate motel (rather than a Sheraton). I wont come back here again. Staff lacks basic customer service skills and etiquette. Really left an unpleasant taste in my mouth. I had a blocked up sink, but hesitated to complain about it -- for fear of being yelled at in a similar fashion. Train your staff on some basic (common sense) customer service skills -- if a caller is irate, elevate it outside the purvey of your guests -- no one wants to hear hotel staff "losing their cool" with customers.

I do agree with you that you should not have had to listen to the employee and/or the managers comments. Bad Location

Location: nothing you can do on this area
Hotel is a located in terrible location, every day I ran to hundreds of homeless individual

Nice hotel room but noisy atmosphere

Pros: Room was clean, staff was friendly
Cons: Improve security, provide better parking options for high vehicles that will not fit in their garage.
Location: There are not many family friendly places to eat within walking distance.
Overall the hotel was very nice, the hotel room was clean and the staff at the front desk was very nice and helpful. I would rate the hotel higher if a few things had not happened during our stay, first upon arrival we were told the pool was closed for repairs, thist was not ideal but we understand things happened. We noticed a wedding reception was going on at the hotel and immediately worried about noise and crowds. Later in the evening we called and asked for linens for the pull out couch for our son to sleep on. It took 2 more phone calls and almost 55 minutes before the linens were delivered. Unfortantly the wedding party also had suites on the same floor and the afterparty moved to the floor until 4:30 in the morning. We spent the night drifting in and out of sleep over the screams, cheers and noises of the party. There were people running up and down the halls, yelling and screaming. It took a phone call to the front desk at 4:30am after someone started banging on our door and would not stop to get secuirty to the floor. We later found out it was a drunk bridesmaid who could not find her way to her room. The loud banging on the door not only woke us up but terrified my son from falling back asleep right away. The hotel needs to do a better job keeping large groups out of the hallways and staying quiet. While the hotel was nice and the room was clean, we would not stay here again.

Worse hotel I ever stayed in

Paid for 2 doubles and got one king. They couldn't accommodate us. Doors falling off cupboards and dirty. Bad newbie hood and poor customer service.

Lots of room, great value

Only stayed one night for a friend's wedding but the size of the room was more than enough especially for the amazing price. Check in and check out was smooth. Parking garage was tight (no big SUVs) but included in the excellent price of the room. TVs weren't great- reception a bit off. Over all a great stay.

The staff was extremely courteous. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. Whenever we come into Wilmington; this will be our hotel of choice. Btw, the rate is very affordable. That is a definite plus!!!

I am very satisfied from overall experience, but not very good when I walked in to check in that evening, that man be hide the front desk was a bit rude, but the lady next to him was nice to other staying customers.
