Beach WeekendPosted Jun 16, 2014
Accommodations were adequate. The room/bathroom was clean. The bed was comfortable. Hallway was a little dank looking. Desk associates were pleasant. Loved the "make your own waffles" at the cont. breakfast.

Close enough to downtown and Wrightsville beachPosted May 22, 2014 on Hotels.com
The hotel wasn't too bad, but the other people staying there made the experience less appealing. A lot of raucous noise in the middle of the night. My only real problem with the room itself was that the water line going into the toilet would make loud noises any time someone in another room would flush.

Great customer service, okay accomodationsPosted Apr 30, 2014 on Hotels.com
The best part of this was the front desk clerk. He was excellent and went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. The room was okay - nice and spacious with a sitting area. But a faint smell of smoke occasionally seemed to go down the hallway. The breakfast is pretty meager, but has the usual (cold cereal, instant oatmeal, make your own waffles, yogurt, bananas, etc.). The room was clean enough. The location is very convenient. I would stay here again.

Super 8 okPosted Apr 18, 2014 on Hotels.com
The rooms were small. The breakfast was minimal. Looked a little worn. The A/C was not the best. The location was convenient for our trip. The price was pretty good during the Azalea Festival if you booked online. Calling directly they tried to up the price $20/night for the festival. Plenty places to eat within 2-3 miles. Just ok overall.

Smoke odors, especially in hallways; beer litter in stairwell. Not handicap accessible (no elevator). Kids enjoyed breakfast.

People hang in front of hotel all night, when you trying to come in to your room. Smell of drug was in the hallways! It was my worst stay in a hotel, want be back there anymore

I've stayed in a lot of Super 8's and I have to say this was the best. Very nice quality room I would stay here again.

Pros: Staff was good
Cons: update the furnishings , carpet ....
Location: Close to the airport , 3 miles ( 5km ) from downtown , close to many shops
Motel staff was quite helpful .Facility is older and somewhat run down from a cosmetics perspective( example - screens have holes in them , carpeting old and the room smells of fabreeze and musty.Breakfast is edible but substandard . Rooms were kept clean but an old motel is still an old motel.

I enjoyed myselfPosted Oct 29, 2013 on Hotels.com
I was only in the hotel to sleep and get ready for my adventures, but overall it wasn't bad for the price and location. I would stay again!
