We were locked out of our room one evening but the staff swiftly dealt with the problem. Excellent breakfast. We paid £55 per night. Excellent value.

Lovely hotel very welcomingPosted Jul 14, 2014
Location: We were staying to visit the air tattoo at Fairford for which it proved to be a good base. We also visited the nearby steam museum.
Lovely hotel very welcoming to all of us including four children aged between 2 and 8. The pool was very welcome after a long hot day at the nearby air tattoo. The reception staff were extremely helpful including the booking of our taxis. We ate at both the Victory where the staff served us outside and brought a high chair for the baby and also at the Italian restaurant where the staff couldn't have been more welcoming.

Recharge your batteries herePosted Jun 30, 2014
Pros: Good facilities.
Cons: Check in was very slow due to a wedding party that was checking in that day. You should put more staff on reception when a wedding is on.
Location: Ideally situated right next to the cinema, the ice rink/leisure centre, shops and restaurants.
We had a really lovely break at this hotel. Our room was a good size, it was clean and the bed was very comfy. Good facilities here to unwind, gym, pool, sauna etc. The sports bar was ideal for watching the World Cup footie matches, plenty of TVs and good food too.

Weekend BreakPosted Jun 22, 2014
Pros: For the price you pay per night, there is not a lot I like about it, but it does have a nice out side area.
Cons: A double bed in a double room, or if there has to be two single beds, these could be secured together so they don't move about !!
Booked this hotel to have a romantic weekend away with my wife, I booked a double room with a double bed, was given 2 single beds pushed together, which kept moving apart, didn't sleep well as the pillows kept falling down the back of the bed, Air conditioning was advertised, No air conditioning in a standard room had to up grade to get Air con, again, room safe advertised no room safe. Satellite TV advertised, that was a joke. The wife tried and booked some spa treatment, only to be told we only have a couple of 30 minutes slots available, so was only able to have a back massage,, the girl did said we are really busy.... Hello !!!!!! if your busy open up for longer or get more staff !! The check out procedure on the Sunday morning was very slow, with no express check out available. Only 2 members of staff on the front desk. Automatically adding a charity donation on your bill is a little cheeky, I realise I was informed of this on check out and could of had it removed,

Hotel fine confusing layourPosted Jun 18, 2014
Pros: Unusual layout
Location: Not sure - this was just a stop along our way
We had trouble finding it. The name was confusing. Just remember "Village" and you will see it. We found the interesting and different layout (which is a plus) hard to negotiate because the signage is not as helpful as it should be.

Friendly staff and relaxing stayPosted Jun 13, 2014
Pros: the staff-very friendly and polite! Best staff I have ever come across at a hotel
Cons: the finish of the rooms and the food!
Location: the retail outlet park was around 8 min drive! I would recommend to visit there!
We booked this hotel for a one night stay. We decided to pay the upgrade to the upper deck room, but I don't think it was all that worth it to be honest. Room was nicley designed but the finish was not 4 star, the curtain rail was falling off, scuffs on the chair and walls. The bathroom looked similar to a travelodge bathroom with a upgraded work top and red painted ceiling. I think I was expecting a much more stylish and modern look for the upgraded price. The perks of the room was certainly to have Sky TV including Sky movies and sports! The star bucks in the room was ok, not amazing, star bucks packeted hot chocolate and biscuit! Food in the italian resturant again was ok, not amazing, box standard food, simliar to pizza hut! Breakfast again ok, not amazing, similar to a weatherspoons breakie! Our fav bit was the spa area, we did enjoy the hot tub and steam rooms!
