"Stayed in cottage 509, I was lucky as it had a back door to the garden and lovely views. Yes, the cottages are dated, but looks like they've had a lick of paint, it's just the carpets and furniture that are old fashioned, but having said that, really clean and spacious. Really enjoyed my stay."

"Really good value for money. Room was comfortable with air con. Shower was lovely and hot. Would prefer brochures in the room about things to see and do in Bournemouth. Also directions to the beach as we went on a few detours! We had a message from reception each morning about cleaning the room and whether we wished to opt out, which we did one day. Instant coffee and tea bags in the room was ok but would prefer a cafetière and biscuits would be a nice addition. Rooms were not sound proofed and we did have a rude neighbour knocking on the wall at 11.30pm as we were chatting and laughing - not drunken or raucous at all! The food from the restaurant in the evening was amazing - well worth sampling. Most staff were very polite and friendly, except one breakfast waitress who obviously hadn’t had enough training. There was a wedding on the last night but it did not affect our stay at all. We paid 3 days parking with no problems and plenty of spaces."

"Never been to this area before. We were her for 3nights. The hotel is a perfect location for getting to everywhere we wanted to. Great location, lovely room, lovely staff and fab cocktails! We will definitely visit again asap."

"We came for a night on the way to Peppa Pig World (30 min drive away) and it had everything we needed and more. The kids loved the pool and the grounds. It was a 20 min walk from the beach but there was a supermarket/other shops just across the road. The room was a bargain, and had the basics you would need for a night's stay. Plenty of room for the kids (family room - 1 double and 2 singles.) The beds were comfortable. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was nice."
