“Best Breakfast Staff ever”

I love Hampton Inn and try to stay at one whenever possible, and they are usually extremely modern and very nice. This one seemed just a little older although not bad, just needed some updating in the rooms. Bedding was not near as soft and beds were much firmer than any other Hampton Inn that I have stayed at. However, the staff was the best ever! The breakfast lady was amazing!

“Good service, nice people...”

Only complaint I have is the food! Awful! It was "plastic"...eggs not genuine, meat poor quality. If a hotel is going to offer eggs in the morning they should cook real ones!!! Nice touch for the hotel to offer breakfasts "to go"...that kind of made up for the lackluster breakfast on the premises. Coffee was good. I left an item in my room and the desk person is going to ship it to me. Very helpful and efficient. The lack of quality food is the hotel's fault, not the employees!! I want to be clear on that.

Area recommendations

Winchester, Va. is a lovely town...be sure to see Old Town...there are newer sections of the city, too...Olive Garden, Kohls...a mall..things of that nature.

“Helpful Staff”

We were going to Cape Liberty Cruise Port from Atlanta Ga. This was a good stopping point for us. The Manager was very helpful in advising us on places to eat. When we do the cruise again we will stay there again.

“Great set up”

Breakfast is great and lots of room to congregate as a group in the lobby to visit. Would have liked to be able to hang out at the pool longer at night tho.
