One of the worst hotels

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Overhaul and make a non-smoking hotel. Need to gut the place and start over
Location: need places to eat other then fast food and applebees
To start the minute we walked into the room it stunk. The toilet seat was totally stained and dis-colored it was gross. The refrigerator door seal was dirty. The carpet smelled was ripped & stained. The furniture was old and the wood warned out. This hotel was gross and I don't recommend to stay here not one night!!! the whole hotel smelled like cigarettes. was in a non smoking room that smelled like cigarettes, plus when walking out front door the desk clerk was smoking a cigarette and picking her feet on front bench.

We do realize that our second floor is our smoking floor and as not all the rooms are smoking rooms the smell still travels and lingers in the halls. We will take care of the toilet seat and get it replaced as soon as possible. We are sorry your stay was not satisfactory and take all feedback seriously and will relay the issues to our staff. We apologize for our staff and the behavior they exhibited on the front bench. That is not acceptable and we will make sure this does not happen again. Good sized room

Stayed overnight on the way home from vacation. Location is not all that close to stores or restaurants. Room was large and comfortable even with two portable cribs set up. Staff seemed more interested in sitting outside and smoking rather than attending the front desk. Room and building were clean and comfortable. Great stay as long as you don't need anything from the staff.

Location: Fort Boonesbourough, Natural Bridge State Park, Cumberland Falls State Park, Kentucky Horse Park, Furnace Mountain,
The stay at this motel was wonderful! The staff was very friendly and if a problem occurred they were quick to fix it. The pool was nice==a little cold at times but they adjusted the water temp. Will plan on staying there again next year when travel to Kentucky. Continental breakfast was excellent!

The overall experience was which matched the price . Hotel had a strong odor of cigarettes and the ac in room 225 sounded like birds chirping so we had to turn it off. Not a bad hotel, just average.
