“VERY DIS- SATISFIED”

The pool had NO WATER in it and there was no lock on the gate surrounding it. The microwave had to be unplugged to even use a plug for our cell phone charger. The floor felt like it was going to cave in and there was a huge open hole in the bathroom between the wall and the floor. Not worth the money and I didn't want to ask because the people there barely spoke English enough to ask for extra towels. So disappointed that I think next time we will stay in a place right next to there and be happier without the pool.

Area recommendations

Living Memorial Park off of Rt9(Western Ave) is a great place for little and bigger kids alike. There is a great park to play, basketball court, tennis court, baseball field, picnic tables, grills and a pool that is a very cheap way to keep the kids happy all afternoon during the summer months. There is a deeper pool for ages 12? and up and also a baby pool with a sprinkler park area. They do require bathing suits, cutoffs or t-shirts and the like are not allowed. They also have a large hill for skiing/sledding and rent-able covered open air gazebos with electricity during the non- winter months.

Thank you for reviewing our hotel. The pool was being renovated at the time of your stay. The pool is now fully open with new tile and paint! I have posted some new photos of our renovated pool. We provide microwave and refrigerators in most of our guest rooms for our guests' convenience; I'm sorry you had to share the plug outlet. We strive to provide a clean room with useful amenities at an affordable price. Thank you again for taking the time to review our Inn.

“Excellent for the price”

If you are looking for luxury, look elswhere. However if you are looking for a very inexpensive hotel in the Brattleboro area this might be the one for you. My room was small, clean and quiet. The staff was helpful and freindly. Conviently located near shopping and the highway, downtown Brattleboro is just a short drive. The internet connection was good and easy to connect to. The hotel could probabaly do with some updating, but it was not run down or dirty. My only suggestion would be that given the size of the room, perhaps some smaller furnuture would be in order, The dresser was huge and took up a large portion of the space, also the second chair was not needed. I would pass on the continental breakfast, the selection is limited, and to be honest .. not very good. Should you go to this hotel, keep in mind it is VERY inexpensive and what that means, but for the price I doubt you can beat it. I would most certainly stay again.

“Nice people, but simply a poor facility”

The owners are extremely nice, are trying very hard, and are probably doing the best they can with what they have to work with. But the rooms are very small, the furniture is in poor repair, and the Internet access wasn't working during the two days we were there. We had reserved the room and paid in advance for the whole week but left after the second night. In their favor, the owners agreed not to charge us for the rest of the week.

“Good nights rest”

From reading the reviews we expected the worst, but once we arrived we realized it wasn't bad at all. It was clean, spacious and had comfy beds. We would definitely go back.

“July 4th week-end”

“Nice and cheap!”

This motel is convenient, the rooms are clean. GREAT breakfast, for an inexpensive place. Lots to choose from, and decent coffee! Very nice staff. Our only complaint is that the non-smoking room smelled like smoke....
