Expected MorePosted Mar 10, 2014
Pros: Beds and price.
Cons: The place was in dire need of qualiity cosmetic repair.
Location: We went to ski at Mount Snow so were away all day, but Fireworks restaurant in Brattleboro was terrific!
For Quality Inn I expected more. Hotel was a combo of nice & not-so-nice features: It was either once very nice & now declining or was once nice, had declined & now in a comeback. Lobby was OK, though some repair needed . Hall trim was recently painted, but wall coverings showed it: Is the wall paper going to be replaced? The halls needed cleaning: Dried leaves in the uptairs hall & it was the beginning of March. Some doors to the outside were not functioning properly & some public doorknobs not attached properly. Also, ice machines appeared to be dilapidated or missing (I did not use them personally). Also, smell of smoke in upper hall despite being a no smoking facility. However, room was very nice, bathroom nice, good hot water, beds very clean and confortable. Seemed like new electronic locks on doors (I could tell by the areas around lock not painted). BUT smoke alarm not operating and was off the wall (maybe a smker?). Clothes rack had bent rod, sink and tub had no stopper.

Condition is badPosted Feb 17, 2014
We stayed there two nights. First, the keys can not open the door. Second, the smell in the hallway and the room is very bad. Third, the hotel looks very old and out of maintanence.

Pros: This is a great place to spend a short night if you are tired of traveling.
Cons: Paint, carpet, cleaning. Security locks on external doors.
Location: Brattleboro is a fun town. Neat shops and stores. You have to go to Sam's Outfitters. They're the best. You must visit the Grafton Cheese Shop!
My expectations were not high, so I was not disappointed. Rooms were fine. Service OK. Beds were comfortable. Staff was friendly. Kids liked the indoor pool. I would rate the place better but my conscience will not allow it. The facility seems old and needs some TLC. Food vending machine was empty. Drink vending machine took my money. Ice machine did not work. Staff did refund my money, but didn't seem surprised. They are keeping a log of when the drink machine malfunctions. The girl pull out the clipboard and added my name to a lengthy list of guests who needed refunds. There is no external security. All doors open and anyone can enter any door any time.

breakfast and bar/restaurantPosted Dec 26, 2013
Pros: Front desk personnel was nice had a pool, sauna and gym equipment. Started at America's best and that was a unacceptable to for a kennel.
Cons: The over all hotel could use some updating
Location: Went up to see family and a Christmas light show
Was told had pancakes for breakfast (most usually have waffles) did not have either one and restaurant and bar was closed every time I came back. Could use some updating but overall was ok

Unusually full selection of warm breakfast items!Posted Oct 31, 2013 on Hotels.com
I asked for lodging close to the railroad station and was told that the Quality Inn was only a few minutes walk, so I was disappointed to find that it certainly was not. I found the motel dreary, but the bed was comfortable, the maid service and the front desk good, and the breakfasts outstanding. I stayed 2 nights and was satisfied overall.
