Location: SHOPPING / PELEE ISLAND
NOTE: I HAVE TRIED TO EXPLAIN MY EXPERIENCE BUT YOUR SYSTEM KEEPS REJECTING MY INPUT; IT WAS PLEASANTLY FRIENDLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hotel in Leamington to catch the Pelee Island Ferr

Pros: the coffee
Cons: keeping their guess book with offers uptodate
Location: took the ferry to the Pelee Island and did enjoyed excellent italian food at Armando's Pizza.
Hotel room clean and confortable enough for one night stay. Unfortunatly there was a noisy bunch of tenants across our room and the hotel staff attendants did nothing to stop it so therefore we could no sleep very well. We also we denied the free coupons advertised in the hotel guess book. Coupons for free wine testing at the near winery that we were planning to see on the Pelee Island. Their respons to our request was that the offer was expired. There was no expired date mentioned in the guess book and I actually selected that particular hotel because they offered the coupons for the Pelee Island Winery. They should update the guess book as this is misleading potential customers.

Location: only 10 minutes to Point Pelee National Park and ferry to Pelee Island.

Wine trail

Excellent Hotel close to everything. Walk to the water front in minutes. Shops across the street and next door.

Non-smoking room smelled of stale smoke

Cons: Freshen the rooms. Smell of stale smoke is definitely unpleasant. Air conditioning was cool but very noisy
Location: We had a wedding at Colasanti's which was about a 10 minute drive away. Close to the lake. Close to Ontario's wine route!
Easy check in, good location. But the first thing that hit us when we got into the room was the smell of stale smoke even though the entire complex is now non-smoking. Beds and bedding were clean and comfortable, bathroom amenities OK - toilet seat moved when you sat on it :-( Continental breakfast was pure carbs and nothing nourishing to get you on your way in the morning. Also confusing layout and nowhere to sit. Would stay again in a pinch, but definitely would try somewhere else the next time in this area.

Thank you for your comments. The Comfort Inn Leamington is a 100% smoke free environment. However, some guests do smoke outside the room and the odor may enter our rooms. We take every effort to try to eliminate the smell of smoke on our change over, sometimes a greater effort is required. I have passed your comments onto our housekeeping department to ensure that this does not recur. Our breakfast is a continental and is due for an upgrade with planned renovations. We look forward to having you stay with us again in the near future.

Not far from downtown nor from waterfront. Nothing really negative or outstanding, just an average facility. Clean and comfortable.

Miscommunication between Expedia and Comfort Inn?

Had reserved a 2-double bed room, but was given a single queen. Was told to come back later since the room I had requested was not ready. The lady at the desk didn't apologize and couldn't tell me approximately what time the room would be ready at. She blamed Expedia. On the plus side, I hadn't stayed at a Comfort Inn in several years and was pleased to find they had upgraded the breakfast offering.
