Non-smoking room smelled of stale smoke

Pros: Location and sleeping comfort
Cons: Freshen the rooms. Smell of stale smoke is definitely unpleasant. Air conditioning was cool but very noisy
Location: We had a wedding at Colasanti's which was about a 10 minute drive away. Close to the lake. Close to Ontario's wine route!
Easy check in, good location. But the first thing that hit us when we got into the room was the smell of stale smoke even though the entire complex is now non-smoking. Beds and bedding were clean and comfortable, bathroom amenities OK - toilet seat moved when you sat on it :-( Continental breakfast was pure carbs and nothing nourishing to get you on your way in the morning. Also confusing layout and nowhere to sit. Would stay again in a pinch, but definitely would try somewhere else the next time in this area.

Miscommunication between Expedia and Comfort Inn?

Had reserved a 2-double bed room, but was given a single queen. Was told to come back later since the room I had requested was not ready. The lady at the desk didn't apologize and couldn't tell me approximately what time the room would be ready at. She blamed Expedia. On the plus side, I hadn't stayed at a Comfort Inn in several years and was pleased to find they had upgraded the breakfast offering.

Very Nice Over-night Motel

Pros: The hotel is clean, well maintained and comfortable. It is close to food and services. Staff is welcoming. Enjoyed a fridge to keep the beer. Good TV.
Cons: Well, there was a snowstorm happening at the time. The parking could have been cleaned again and the stairs from the back parking lot needed attention
Location: I was interested to see the original Heinz plant and the nature of agribusiness in the county. The Point Pelee Park is excellent for bird watching.
I was stuck for a motel after leaving Windsor with the 401 closed. I called home to have a room booked so that I would be assured of finding one. This motel was clean, wel kept and had a very comfortable bed. It is near to a Shoeless Joes so I was able to get supper nearby. This Comfort Inn was everything I was hoping for.

With note to the snow, it was a very heavy snow fall in a very short amount of time and our maintenance department and our contractor who looks after the snow removal were doing all that they could to keep up with demands of the day. I will further review the accumulations and follow up with our service team. I am glad that you made it here safely and that you were able to enjoy a good meal with one of our partners. Convenient location

We were in Leamington as out of town guests attending a funeral. The hotel staff was very attentive to our needs and even checked us in early so we could freshen up. Offered us coffee and snacks as well. Thanks for making our stay a nice one (considering situation).
