Hotel from HellPosted Apr 3, 2015
The hotel was filled with unruly college kids who felt the need to host parties in the corridor till 4 am. there were drunk young ladies who couldn't even walk straight every where. The hotel staff did nothing to correct the problem and I ended up calling the police myself at 2:30 am myself.

People were loud and kept us up very late. Room was outdated and needed some renovations. Workers were complaining about the number of people in the hotel.

Close to Windsor Detroit TunnelPosted Mar 23, 2015
Close to the boarder for us which was why we chose it. The hotel was noisy with young people partying. When we got back to room at night there were loud drunk people outside and they broke a whiskey bottle on the parking lot. I heard music playing even with my earplugs in during the night.

An overviewPosted Mar 16, 2015
Pros: Overall the friendliness and helpfulness of the hotel staff. The rooms were clean and functional.
Cons: A small microwave would be useful.
Location: We were too busy to check out the surrounding location; so we can't evaluate it.
The accommodations were good. The staff didn't inform us that breakfast was over by 10 A.M. and we missed it. We did get a cup of coffee. The biggest problem was a booking one. We had written proof that we rented only one room. But management was insistence that we booked 3 rooms for the 2 of us. They wouldn't change it until we went through via a third person - the online booking agency. Also I didn't know that I had to dial 9 to get to an outside line and therefore it took awhile to reach the online agency. I would suggest the hotel put a message "Dial 9 to get an outside line or number" on all the hotel room phones. Otherwise we were very pleased with the hotel. Lorraine Disher

Close to downtown WindsorPosted Mar 16, 2015
Great hotel for the price! I was in the king room, friends had a room with two full beds, and everyone was happy. Walking distance from bars/restaurants. Drove from Detroit, and it was so close to the tunnel (you could walk there). I would stay here again.

Downtown Hotel Needs RenovationPosted Mar 16, 2015
Pros: The close proximity to downtown Windsor. The housekeeping staff was courteous.
Cons: Better customer service training of staff and managers, room renovations greatly needed, better communication with guests and with travel agencies.
Location: Located very close to Caesars Windsor Casino, though in a run down area of town. Close proximity to public transportation, food establishments.
I was very displeased with my stay here. Upon check in, I found the rate quoted was not what was charged to me. The amount preauthorized to my card was $90 more, and cut into my small vacation fund considerably. When asked about it, the front clerk desk said they couldn't help me and to "take it up with Expedia". The room I was given was noticeably beaten down, chips in the walls and burn holes on the comforters. The breakfast offered was subpar, with the orange juice being watered down beyond recognition. When I approached the desk to enquire about breakfast, the female clerk didn't look up but instead said to me "DOWN THE HALL THAT WAY." I found this to be rude. On my second night there, a group of loud, boisterous individuals checked in and were screaming, yelling and banging/slamming doors well into the evening. I called the front desk to report, they assured me it would be handled. It was not, initially. At 2am I was awoken by more screaming, yelling, doors slamming. I waited, hoping management would handle. They didn't. So I called the front desk again at 3am. They told me that security had been dispatched. Clearly they were not doing their job as these people were still yelling. The manager said he'd handle it. I turned the air on which muffled the sound and checked out three hours early. Very disappointing customer service and lack of respect by staff. I won't stay with this company again.

Not as it was advertised. Old and worn out.Posted Mar 9, 2015
Pros: Although the pillows were not comfortable, the bed was very comfortable. The heating system was easy to use and a person had good control of the temp
Cons: Attitude of front desk person. Other front desk people were very helpful. Better choice for breakfast to include other hot dishes.
Location: Very poor part of city although close to border crossing.
One particular front desk person appeared not to care about a person's concerns. Having paid for it beforehand, we were not in a position to leave. Will not use Expedia again.

Very Disappointed .Posted Feb 16, 2015
Pros: None,it was disgusting hotel.
Cons: Customer service and respect for their customer's and write truth about what they are offering ?
we stayed in Days Inn in Niagara falls was a good experience, so we thought is going to be a pleasure to stay in Days Inn in Windsor, but what a mistake awful hotel to stay in ,poor service ,very dirty, spider web all over the hotel and in our room, dresser drawer were filthy . when we book the hotel it shows what amenities we were getting with it, like fridge, microwave, iron /iron board, coffee maker and etc, but none of these above were there when we ask the front desk the answer was $ 10.00 per item we have to pay, even the heat was not working properly. So first thing in the morning around 8:00 we check out . Never again in DAYS INN Hotel and will never recommend anyone to stay there.

A fair hotel at a fair pricePosted Jan 25, 2015 on Hotels.com
Great place to stay prior to a border crossing to Detroit. The hotel is clean. The place is dated and things look older and somewhat worn. Breakfast is a standard nothing but carbohydrate affair. A fair hotel at a fair price. I would go again as a stay the night before the Detroit Autoshow.
