Bad hotel, very outdated

Posted Aug 9, 2014
The hotel is old, needs updating, they overbooked and tried to stick us in a smoking room when we requested non-smoking. They "found" one other room after lots of debate. Some homeless/drunk man sleeping in the parking lot, someone called the police on him. Don't recommend this place to anyone! We would have slept in our car if it wasn't for the fact we had a guest with us!

Satisfactory

Posted Jul 31, 2014
Pros: The price was right, the location was good for our overnight stay before crossing the border.
Cons: Update carpets and use scent free deodizer. Smell of smoke in the old carpets.
Location: We only stayed one night as we passed through to the U.S. from Canada so I don't know for sure.
For the size and age of this hotel it was acceptable. The beds are clean and comfortable and the bathroom was spotless with good water pressure. Obviously this hotel allowed smoking everywhere at one time (which was normal) and because the carpets are probably still the same we could still smell the smoke. They try to mask the smell with some sort of scent and unfortunately that caused another awful smell. However once the AC was on it wasn't unbearable.

Ok if you're a student who likes to party.

Posted Jul 27, 2014
Hotel was ok. Nice and close to the casino and river....walking distance. The linen was very clean, however, there we're burn marks EVERYWHERE! All over the rug, the curtains, the toilet, the shower curtains and the lamp shade.... The continental breakfast if you want it you better get there early, like 7am or you're out of luck....we escaped with a cup of juice.

Terrible Stay with Loud Noisy at Midnight

Posted Jul 3, 2014
The night we stayed was terrible. There were so loud noisy in some guest rooms. People seems to have a party. They talked, laughter and closed doors loudly at midnight until about 3am. We talked to hotel staff about it. He said he would try again to stop them, but he was not sure if it worked..... As guest, we definitely won't go there again in the future.
