Hotel convenient to downtown Windsor

Pros: Location
Cons: more parking.
Location: Clubs and some restaurants are nearby.
The hotel itself is very well located to both downtown entertainment and the tunnel to the US. Parking is at a premium however.

Cons: Elevator system. Only one in use at the time.
Home away from home. Very comfortable and relaxing.

Like sleeping in an old Disco

Hotel is old. Rooms are in need of renovation. My room was right above the street with bars and caf├ęs ... Very noisy. Only thing that allowed me some sleep was the noise of the old air conditioning unit in my room drowning out the noise from outside.

Classy hotel close to River

Pros: Close to central Windsor.Clean,modern
Cons: The parking was stressful as there were no spots to stop in front and upstairs parking was all taken.The underground parking was ok after we got a key
Location: Lots of local bars and restaurants and Detroit river is withing walking distance.
We found a lovely king sized bed and a soft cushy one for sure!We slept well .Prior to getting your room you may find it hard to find a parking spot in front of hotel.After you get a key you go in parking garage down under the building.We found some stress parking in such a narrow area.However ,my son was within walking distance so we met him and got to see his apartment.We were allowed to have a later check out so we left our car and went with my son to breakfast.The twisted Apron was a great choice but expensive and we had to drive a bit to it.The parking garage is an upcharge of 15.00.

Employees are wonderful!

The employees were wonderful ... room was OK except that it overlooked the street and was a little noisy ... of course it was the weekend and that is to be expected. Next time would ask for a room on the other side of hotel.

Close to the International Aquatic Facility

Pros: Just a short walk from the International Aquatic Centre and the waterfront
Hotel is a bit old and tired. My room had a smoker in it at one point and the room still smelled. Had to close the blackout drapes at night because there was a big screen TV Advertisement on the building across the street.

great business hotel

Cons: no issues
Traveled to Windsor on business. Hotel was in a great location downtown. Rooms well appointed and beds comfortable. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. I will be back

Nice Hotel in the Heart of Downtown Windsor

Pros: Great value for the price
This Holiday Inn is right downtown Windsor. It is an older building but rooms have been renovated and are nicely decorated and the beds are comfortable. The staff was very nice and they actually upgraded our room to an executive suite...nice surprise! The elevators were being repaired so only one elevator was working.
