The Hotel is located by the entrance to the ferry to Point Pelee. Our room had a view of the lake. The fireplace was nice after spending time outdoors on a cool day. Very clean and quiet. The room rate was less than other hotels in the area. A very pleasant stay.

Close to the beach and ferry dock. Cheap, cheerfulPosted Mar 27, 2015
Cons: The lounge where 'breakfast' was served...very bleak.
Location: Leamington's a very quiet town. Point Pelee National Park is beautiful.
Pleasant stay. We kept to ourselves and were not bothered. A couch in the room would have improved it. Intermittent wifi on the top floor was disappointing.

Seacliffe Inn (and Bar)Posted Dec 30, 2014 on Hotels.com
I was in the area visiting family. There are not a lot of options in the area, and I thought I'd try the Seacliffe. The hotel is pretty and it has a great view of the lake. My 3rd floor room was comfortable and had plenty of space to move about. It had been simply updated recently. The bath was clean though the fan was quite loud. I liked the electric fireplace in the room and the roof line gave some interest to the simple decorations. I slept well during my second night. I wish I had known ahead of time was that there was a Boxing Day party during the first night of my stay. My room was directly above the bar patio. While the attendees did not get out of hand, the after party in the room next to mine did. I'm a sound sleeper, so they only kept me up for half an hour, but it was not a good surprise. I think I will try the place again, but I'll check the party schedule before making the reservation. A weeknight might be a better choice.

Pros: The layout of the room, its location, and we would have loved the fireplace if it had been colder.
Cons: The opening and closing dates for the on-site restaurant should be noted on the website.
The inn was very nice. Lovely view of the lake from the room. Fireplace was very nice looking, but not needed on this mild weekend. If you were not overly tired when you checked in, you'd be paying attention to the temperature in the room. Heat was always coming from the fireplace, and needed to be counterbalanced by cool air so that you didn't swelter in the heat. So, in spite of the fireplace, we did enjoy our stay. The room was very nice, the staff were great, and the inn was right across the street from Gaspard's a nice breakfast place.

great little InnPosted Nov 2, 2014 on Hotels.com
Great little Inn. I was staying in one of the suites which was comfortable, but a little dated. The front desk staff was super nice and very helpful. The area is great, located next to a nice sandy beach. This would be an ideal location during the summer month. Overall I would recommend this place to friends.

sleepless in SeacliffePosted Oct 29, 2014 on Hotels.com
Hotel condition and location on the waterfront is very good. However, from the room we were in, the noise from the heating and ventilating system (vents contracting and expanding making a banging noise every cycle of the system (i.e. every ten minutes it would come off and on)) kept me awake all night. Ask for a room away form the HVAC system.

Weekend GetawayPosted Oct 27, 2014
Everything was good from the staff to the location to the accomodations. The only thing I could find that was unpleasant was that there were several stains on the carpet beside the beds and in front of the beds (it almost seemed that someone threw up on the carpet and it wasn't cleaned properly). Other than that, our stay was terrific. The staff was very accomodating and friendly. I would recommend this hotel and would stay again.

Overnight getawayPosted Oct 19, 2014
My wife and I stayed overnight at the Sea cliff. A great view and a clean comfy room were what we needed, and what we found. A few more items on the breakfast bar would have been nice, but our overall experience was great.
