“Perfect inn for when we visit Pt. Pelee”

We really love the Inn and will continue to come back every year. It is cozy and the fireplace is a nice touch. We would appreciate a better breakfast. We get up early to head into the park and didn't even see a breakfast this year.

“They Missed Administration 101 in Hotel School”

The Seacliffe Inn is a nice place to stay, but their reservation system is hopelessly messed up. I originally reserved two rooms, six months ahead of time. At four months, I called to confirm and found only one room reserved. After correcting the reservation, I called again at one month in advance and the operator confirmed all was well. However, when I showed up, the reservation had the wrong number of rooms for the wrong time period. After correcting the reservation for the second room - which was for the next day - that reservation was still messed up when my friend arrived only 24 hours later. I think the message is - don't count on your room being reserved unless you confirm and re-confirm. One more point - the Seacliffe is built to resemble an old-fashioned inn. This results in some very strange room layouts. All rooms have a fireplace (nice!) but unfortunately they lack things like an adequate reading light or nightstands on both sides of the bed. Nice location and friendly staff, but don't count on reading in bed.

“Quaint; don't expect hotel amenities”

Worst thing was too hot. Couldn't use fireplace. Couldn't cool room with windows. Had bar below which was benefit if you are into that. However it was loud until 2:00 am, especially when fight broke out under window. Hotel actually provides ear plugs. Desk staff was nice and helpful but not there much. Breakfast is really snack and I think they make one pot of coffee and when gone that's it. Room was very clean and spacious. Fireplace could be fun if not so hot. Good location. This felt more like bed and breakfast than hotel. With all that said, I think I would stay there again I kind of liked the challenges.
