DisappointingPosted Apr 16, 2014
Pros: location and price
Cons: New decor
Sent us to our room but it was still being cleaned. They should communicate with the housekeepers to see if rooms are ready before assigning them. Needs updating. Very tired looking but great location near Casino Windsor

Overlooking DetroitPosted Apr 9, 2014
Pros: The beds and pillows were very comfortable.
Cons: New, updated TV's would be nice. A table or desk in the room to write on. The locks on the door need to be tightened.
Location: On Riverside drive which was a nice place to walk. If anyone is interested only a block from Caesar's casino.
The person at the front desk was not very nice or accommodating. We were told there was a restaurant on site but it doesn't open until May 1st, 2014. I was told by expedia that parking was $10.00 for the Sat. night and $7.00 for the Sunday, he argued $10.00 a night or use another lot. The hotel is old, the lock on the door was coming off. We were worried at one point that someone had tried to break in. The TV was so old that my daughter couldn't hook up her xbox which she had taken to play. There was no table in our room just two chairs. My daughter became very ill so we ended up checking out Sunday evening around 8:00 p.m. instead of Monday at 11:00. He was kind enough not to charge me for parking for Sunday night. The best thing about the hotel was that the beds and pillow were about the best we have ever had in a hotel!

Decent hotel in downtown locationPosted Apr 6, 2014
Staff exceptionally helpful and friendly. Hotel is aging. Parking can be tricky, depending on if there are events happening in the meeting rooms.

Great location near everything downtown.Posted Apr 6, 2014
I attended a swim meet at the new aquatic centre and stayed at the Travel Lodge. This hotel was walking distance from everything, bars, entertainment, dining and shopping.

Our first ever visit to Windsor!Posted Mar 28, 2014
The staff were all very pleasant, they took their time making sure everything went smoothly with both the check in and out. We had a horrible issue with the television in the room. The staff member tried to fix it but found that it was a cable issue They also offered us another room, but we had already settled in with our belongings. Having use of the indoor pool was a awesome, as there was a bad snow storm during our visit. The kids loved it and kept them from being board

Pros: Downtown and clean
Cons: Costumer service
Travelodge was mediocre . Upon arrival we were recommended to stay at another hotel for some reason which we found questioning. They would be turning down our business. Once in the room it was very cool otherwise the room was clean and everything was in working condition.

Dirty room, rude staff and closed advertised amenities. Pay the extra and stay somewhere else! !
