Nice room. Great view.

The elevators seemed a bit dirty. Other than that, it was a nice stay with a great view. I would come back.

Nice view, Shame about the mold

Posted Aug 26, 2014
Overall seemed like a nice hotel, but unfortunately our room had a strong mold odor and some of the wall paper seemed to have been slit to fix water bubbles. The free breakfast was less then exciting, I know it was free but I have seen far better in less expensive hotels.

Nice hotel close to the river

Clean, comfortable room. The breakfast was sufficient, though not great. Didn't use any of the other facilities.

Mediocre at best

Posted Aug 24, 2014
The hot tub was closed. Getting from the parking garage to the hotel was complicated and inconvenient. The room was decent for cleanliness but the bed was very soft and well/ over used. The weekend is a very young, party crowd.

Decent hotel, good downtown location on the river

Posted Aug 18, 2014
Pros: Location, cleanliness.
Cons: Give guests the address of the parking ramps ahead of time.
Location: Downtown, riverfront parks, Caesar's, and lots of food and entertainment nearby.
Overall a good hotel, clean and comfortable, good location. The only problem we encountered was parking--the hotel doesn't own any. Our large SUV was too tall to fit in the parking ramp behind the hotel that most guests use. After two trips to the front desk and lots of searching, we found another ramp about a block and a half away.

Beautiful hotel - Customer Service Lacking

Posted Aug 17, 2014
This is a beautiful Hotel - large windows with gorgeous views of the river and Detroit skyline. The beds are very comfortable and the room are spacious. In general the front desk staff were disinterested in assisting you. Andrew was the only one that tried to help. The other made no attempt to assist to resolve a few issues/questions that we had. The cleaning staff were wonderful.

Disappointing Visit - Very Loud and No Sleep

Posted Aug 16, 2014
Pros: The view of the River. Size of room was fine as well.
Cons: Should have been monitoring the floors at night to be sure there were no disturbances to guests. Hotel knew many kids were checked in for weekend.
My husband and I checked in for the weekend (Fri, Sat, and Sunday night) to attend a family wedding. Our room was adjoined to another, with a locked door in between. We heard some noise in the other room, but decided to go to sleep around 11pm Fri. At about midnight, we woke due to very loud noise in the other room. We realized there was a bachelor party going on with many young guys that were yelling, laughing, drinking, etc. We waited and hoped that it would end as we were trying to get back to sleep, but it just kept getting worse and at 2:30am, we called the front desk and they sent up a security person to finally put a stop to this. I complained at the front desk the next day, and they said the guys were moving out and it should be much quieter. We had a long day at the wedding and got back around 12:30am that night. Went to bed and then we were woken up by loud partying going on in the hallway and across in another room. I got up again at 2:00am, looked out and teens were in the hallway with drinks, and there was a room across the hall with the door open and a party going on. Called front desk again. For Sunday, the hotel put us in a Suite on a quiet floor, but by that night, all the kids had already left the hotel. Our weekend was ruined by no sleep and the stress of having to complain about loud partying. We called hotel manager on duty, but he never called us back.

Hotel was nice inside, front desk was always helpful. Parking was not on site, so you had to park behind hotel, pay 12 bucks per day to have to walk a block to get in. Not fun with two toddlers late at night. Hotel was able to give us a fridge, worked pretty well. Free breakfast wasn't that tasty. Stick with cereal, yogurt, toast options. Our room had a nice view of skyline. Air conditioner in room was a bit noisy at times. There was a soccer tournament going on during our stay, so their were hundreds of teenagers staying there. They were loud and constantly screwed up the elevators. Hotel management did tell them to be quiet.
