Good Night, Sleep Tight!

Posted Apr 15, 2015
Pros: Clean and fresh. Pretty lobby. Blankets layered on bed instead of duvets.
Cons: no improvements
Location: We only slept over and got up early to be on our way. Did not participate in any activities.
This was the most restful night of sleep we had on our long weekend to and from Boise Idaho. The room was fresh and clean. The bed was the most comfortable of the three hotels we stayed in. Breakfast was also the best we had (long cook oatmeal!)

Okay

Posted Mar 31, 2015
Pros: It had been a long day traveling and since we had stayed there before we had no bad surprises!
I booked 2 rooms, I was surprised that the rooms were not next to each other. At least they were on the same floor. We have stayed at this hotel when traveling from California for about 5 years. This was the first time we have been on the back side of the hotel, it was a little nosier. I think this hotel is getting top dollar for their hotel. I am not sure if we will stay there next time.

Comfortable Hotel

Posted Mar 25, 2015
The room was clean and beds fairly comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was the standard "breakfast Included" hotel breakfast. They did have fresh fruit, a waffle maker, eggs, potatoes and sausage. The pastries were ok, nothing too great. Coffee and tea were available between meals which was nice. The staff was friendly. The casino is located in a separate building from the hotel which was nice as you didn't have to walk through a smoke-filled lobby.

We stayed here on our trip south to Arizona and again on our return trip to Oregon. This hotel is very clean; rooms exceeded our expectations. Staff was very friendly and helpful in every aspect. We will stay here again and recommend to our friends.

messy room

Posted Mar 9, 2015
Location: we went to the ranch hand rodeo and horse sale.
we checked in around 4pm. we found a pair of dirty socks on a chair in the open. and the closet was a mess hangers on the floor plus a towel. when you see this it makes you leary of what else was done right. other than that everything else was fine.

Nice hotel, no casino

We were so happy to find a place that wasn't flashing with casino lights. The hotel was beautiful and the room was comfortable.

Good place to stay in Winnemucca

Posted Jan 31, 2015
Pros: Room was good, breakfast was great, staff was friendly and helpful.
Cons: Had a minor issue with the card keys and inconsistency with the door locks. Front desk was unmanned when we arrived. Had to call to get attention.
Location: We wer just passing through, so did not really explore.
Nice, large room, very comfortable. Breakfast was great - eggs, sausage, waffles, Danish pastries, cereals are all available. Staff was also helpful.

Best hotel in Winnemucca by far

Posted Jan 23, 2015
Pros: Large modern rooms
I travel to Winnemucca on business once a month and have stayed at just about every place in town over the years. The Best Western Gold Country Inn is by far the best. Huge clean rooms, great free breakfast with a large selection of items, convenient location, and they give you coupons for the casino next door (discounted food, free drinks, etc.).
