Great stay

This hotel met and exceeded our expectations. The staff was very attentive, the rooms were very clean and updated, overall enjoyed our stay.

Hotel great for our purpose

This hotel was very clean, nicely upgraded from the last time we stayed there (many years ago). We were in on business so liked the continental breakfast availability. Friendly hotel staff.

Good access to main routes. Poor cell phone access. Great breakfast and nice to have staff present there, very helpful when asked for information about the city.

Hotel easy to find, quiet and clean.

Pros: Great waffles at the continental breakfast were great. Staff where very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and quiet.
Location: Easy access to perimeter highway to go leave Winnipeg or go to polo park shopping mall. .
I had to go for minor surgery and my stay at this hotel provided easy access to the route to the doctors office and staff were very helpful and friendly.

Disappointing.

The room we were first given reeked of cigarette smoke, non smoking room that someone was obviously smoking in, they had the air conditioner on full blast when we walked in, probably to try and hide the smell. We were then given another room, which was great it did not smell of smoke, but at 3:00 AM a man walked into our room - which woke us up, he apologized and quickly closed the door, still groggy we went back to sleep. When we checked out the front desk clerk never apologized, was very defensive and said only keys from the reservation party would work - in other words I must be lying - when I said perhaps when we were given a new room the clerk forgot to input it into the computer and gave someone else a key she indicated she would let management know - still no apology and I doubt she let anyone know. Will not go there again.

We were recently renovated and went 100% non smoking and despite our best efforts to detour such activity we do at times have some issues. Anyone found to be smoking inside the hotel is fined upon evidence of such. Security is very important to us, as each room has a dead bolt lock and a secondary lock as well for guest security purposes. Front desk employees are trained not to hand over keys without strict security measures of ID and name of guest occupying the room. Upon investigation I can see no activity for your room during the time specified. I am at a loss to explain what transpired during your stay. I am sorry if the front desk clerk did not properly apologize at the time this was brought to our attention.

Hotel close to Pembina Hwy.

Pros: Easy access for travellers going east or west
Location: generally easy access to Hwy east and west. Unfortunately construction currently being done making access more complicated. Restaurants very limited
Pleasant helpful staff. Comfortable beds and decent breakfast

Almost very good.

Had to plunge my own toilet. Night staff unaware or unwilling of what to do to clear toilet. Approach to hotel needs to be brought up to standard. Breakfast good & breakfast staff friendly. Staff need to know that hotels generally permit motorcycles to be parked under hotel canopy when there is available space. There was space available.

We certainly do allow guests with motorcycles to park under the canopy when space permits. I had a 2nd floor room and there isn't an elevator, I wasn't impressed to have to carry luggage up stairs. Wired internet in my room didn't work. Air conditioner was the old kind with just "off-low-med-high" settings.

Most buildings that have only 2 storeys do not have an elevator. We do also offer ground floor rooms on Hotels.com for the guests who do not prefer to go upstairs. Our location only offers wireless internet at this time.
