Pros: Easy to find, nice swimming pool.
Cons: They should either get their Wi-Fi to work or not advertise that they have it. Should fix a few things.
Their Wi Fi internet was not available, the air conditioning was old and very noisy, the coffee maker did not work, the room was small and not very functional (strange shape). The reception clerk was polite but not helpful at all.

World Cup Fun

Posted Jun 16, 2015
Pros: The pool area was nice. Kids enjoyed it. This hotel had a restaurant attached and the breakfast was good. The house keeping staff was very friendly.
Cons: The hotel doesn't look like much from the outside but it was a nice stay and we were very pleased. WiFi stinks though.
Location: We were next to a grocery store, 10 minute ride to the Forks and within walking distance to the bus stop.
We all enjoyed our stay. The staff was friendly and the room was nice. The beds were very comfortable. The location was great and we had access to food and entertainment. My family and I would stay again.

Stay elsewhere

Posted Jun 15, 2015
Pros: Pool, restaurant
Cons: Need complete new WiFi setup to handle multiple hotel guests. Also need plumbing fixed.
Location: Close to The Forks which is a cool area.
We stayed at this hotel during the first week of the Women's World Cup. Pool area is really nice, the on-site restaurant is good, and the rooms are perfectly fine, no problems there. However, their WiFi internet is not working properly and we were unable to connect to anything for most of the week, and when we were connected it was slow like dial-up. All other guests we spoke to had the same problems. Hotel said this was due to the amount of people online, but in today's technology driven world that is unacceptable. The toilet in our room also kept getting clogged and they were unable to fix it - including one day when they didn't even attempt to fix it, leaving us running to the lobby to use the bathroom when we needed to. Apparently that day they thought it was appropriate to just leave a plunger outside our door. No thanks - I don't mind doing my own plumbing at home, but not when I am at a hotel! Between those two issues (WiFi and plumbing) I would recommend staying anywhere but at this hotel.

Extremely Friendly staff!

We had to find a hotel in a hurry when is Winnipeg and while everything was booked, one room opened up at the Travelodge and when we arrived the staff was so friendly and helpful! The bed was so comfortable and it was nice to have the refrigerator/microwave in the room!! Even though it was a little loud being near the pool and the room was a little small it was a really nice place to stay!!

Nice hotel - noisy housekeeping staff

Posted May 28, 2015
Check in and out went smoothly. Everything was great except for housekeeping staff pushing wheeled towel bin past are room on the tiled poolside floor way too many times at 730 am. Very annoying. Restaurant was excellent. Pool facilities were also great. Good beds. Had a good sleep. Will stay again but not poolside.

pleasant and genuinely friendly staff

Posted May 12, 2015
Pros: great food at the restaurant, great interactions with all the staff members in the hotel, the restaurant and the attached pub and bowling alley
Cons: better wifi, or offer loaner networking cables at front desk. upgrade hot water capacity (the hotel seems to frequently run out)
Location: the hotel itself has 1 pub and 1 nightclub with VLTs and pool. there is a pool and bowling alley, and a good selection of free TV channels
the exterior of the hotel looked a little dated and actually put us off a bit. we proceeded to check in and was greeted by a super-friendly front desk attendant. We received our room - once we checked it out, we thought the bed might be a little small for 2 of us so we asked to upgrade. Again, friendly and helpful staff was able to assist us, even though the hotel was filling up rapidly. very positive interactions with staff!
