Awful

Had a bad experience the only thing that made my stay some what decent was the fact a few of the staff where very nice. I was fist put into a room that the heat could not work on top of that I had a fever and a cold so it help make it worst for me. After I was changed from the room 304 to 310 the lady told my wife and I that we could have free breakfast for the rest of our stay. I was feeling worst then I did the day before, so I did not get any food and finally on our last day before we left my wife went to get us breakfast and was very rudely told by the lady at the desk that the breakfast was a one time thing. It was to the point she felt disrespected in front of other people and had to explain what happen. Lucky I was not down there at the time because I would have let the manager know what I thought of this hotel.

Enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub. Nice restaurant and staff was very professional. Close to the mall and Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Nice buffet breakfast.

Pros: Pretty much everything was great.
Cons: Can't think of anything.
Location: You are right in the middle of everything and/or close to everything else.
It was a very convenient and comfortable place to stay while visiting family in WS.

Pros: Nice, new, clean and quiet.
Cons: Signage and directions to the location for anyone booking a room without prior knowledge on how to find it.
Location: It is in a VERY congested area---good in that there is shopping and places to eat---bad if you want to get around to other parts of the town---?
It is very difficult to find---tucked away in a parking lot with very poor signage from the street. It literally took me 40 minutes to find it once off the interstate---which is less than 2 miles away.

Not a fan of the beds at Hilton Garden Inn. That is my only criticism. Everything else was great!

Pros: Consistently clean and easy in easy out... room is great, love the clicker-timer...
Cons: Updating costs money, but some areas were dated... I don't mind really, because it is always clean..
Location: saw family, but great restaurants in Winston Salem... breakfast a la Hilton is always good!
Hilton Hotels are consistent and always reliable. I travel for pleasure often on the east coast, and only stop if there is a Hilton. They have terrific well trained staff who genuinely seem to enjoy their work, AND, there are almost always cookies!!!

Excellent Stay

I do not travel to Winston-Salem too often. My wife and I however decided that when we do we will stay at this hotel. We were in town for Wake Forest's Homecoming. The hotel was not too crowded, parking was very easy to access in the front, back and side of the building and our room was nice and clean. All exits had a ramp so you could use the luggage carrier at any entrance or exit. Breakfast was good for $7. Finally, we have to request a 1st floor room for health reasons and they were on point as soon as we registered. The only negative is that their is construction going on next door which disrupts traffic flow in and out but it is not really a problem and it should be over soon. Excellent stay!

Hotel Service lacks personalization. Patio's are not kept clean. Most front desk personel are excellent - one bad apple ruined my trip. Prompt response from Manager. Would try again

Pros: See above.
This hotel had everything I needed for a one night stay out of town. It was great having a microwave and minifridge in my room and it was very convenient to be able to use the fitness center. I did not eat at the restaraunt but it was nice to know it was there had I chose to use it.
