“A comfortable and inexpensive hotel”

My family and I stayed one night at the Quality Inn and enjoyed our experience. The hotel was nice and well kept. Our room was clean and comfortable. This hotel offers a breakfast bar, which is a bonus.

I was pleased with the accomodations of the hotel. The hotel was convenient to grocery stores, restaurants and shopping malls. I feel that I will look forward to staying in this hotel on my next vacation.

We needed a place to crash for the night. The rooms were fine. The breakfast food was good as was the service. If it was on the route of another trip I would stay there again.

“Very Average But Tolerable Place to Stay”

We recently completed a six-colleges-in-six days road trip, and this hotel, near Wake Forest, was hands-down the worst place we stayed at. It's not awful, it just doesn't have much going for it. We think the place was about to undergo a major remodel, because some of the rooms on our side of the building seemed to be unavailable, and being readied for redecoration. Our room was okay, though the toilet seat was barely hanging on, and local problems meant a bit of discolored water and some residue left in the tub, sink, and toilet. The pool is fine. The help was fine. The complimentary breakfast was satisfactory. We were too tired to hunt down a better restaurant than the Chinese buffet a very close walk away, and it was your average Chinese buffet, but inexpensive and not bad. So, if you haven't gotten the gist yet - this is an okay place. I wouldn't not recommend it, but don't ask me for cartwheels.

“OK for its class”

The Quality Inn University wasn't a bad place to stay. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was adequate and clean. But the fitness center had only three pieces of equipment (one of which was broken), a burned out lightbulb and an empty water cooler.

“You get what you pay for”

Room was not very clean. I didn't want to walk bearfoot and I wish I had flipflops for the shower. I asked for a 7:45 wake up call and instead they called at 5:45.

“Yuck!”

We arrived at 5:00, checked in and drove to our room but housekeeping was still in it. We ran an errand and went back at almost 5:30 but housekeeping was still in our room. We had to go back to the front desk and get assigned another room. The parking lot is so small that we had to park at the back of the building instead of in an area outside of our room. We couldn't see our vehicle - loaded with everything we were taking on vacation (this hotel was just and overnight stop on the way to the beach). I was not comfortable not being near the vehicle. Next time, we'll pay the additional $25 and stay at the Holiday Inn. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful.

“Will not use this hotel again”

Our room has the following problems: - ants all over the room - the sink faucet was not even fastened to the sink - Most of the electrical outlets did not work or were extremely loose in the wall. My only hope is that the renovations they are performing on the hotel will take care of these issues in the long run, but for the short term, something like loose plumbing or loose wiring can cause some major problems, including loss of life.
