The hotel has a "well used" feel to it. When I got off on my floor, it felt and smelled like I was in a steamy bathroom after someone had showered. Very humid and smelled like shampoo. I don't think there was any dehumidifying happening in my room. The carpet felt damp, and so did the bedding. The room was clean, but the dampness made it uncomfortable. The bed was very soft, personally I like a little firmer mattress. The staff was nice enough, but I am sure glad I only had to stay for one night.

Great hotel, excellent staff!Posted Jun 17, 2014
I was attending a graduation at LJVM. Hotel in literally across the street! Close to several restaurants and minutes from downtown. Hotel is a little dated, but the staff is excellent and catered to our every need. I will definitely be back!

Camping outPosted Jun 10, 2014
Pros: Breakfast , staff, location, pool
Location: Good restaurants across street, jimmy the Greeks , excellent food
I picked the hotel to be close to my convention. I can make do, and did even the the room was a bit disappointing. Must say the staff was always pleasant even on such a busy weekend made up for a lot. The air never worked we'll and hallways and elevator rides were awful. The breakfast was good for me, but if you expect eggs and bacon you will be disappointed. Over all if I have a choice for the price I will stay elsewhere.

Not A true RaddisonPosted May 21, 2014
Cons: cleaner rooms Fresher apperance inside and out
Location: Went up for my sons graduation from Wake Close by campus
Was expecting a Radison Clean rooms Clean halls and fresh coffee None of the above was at this hotel The side and rear doors were not abel to gain access to as a result guests had them propped open all night and day

Almost slept in the car.Posted Apr 9, 2014
Pros: The staff
Cons: just about everything
Location: Don't eat at the golf themed resteraunt around the corner. They claim to have the best steaks, but they must have kept those for themselves.
I cant say much good about the facility, although the staff were friendly and professional. Dirty room, needs updating. Internet wasn't working. Dead insects all behind the furniture, dusty carpets and blinds. Just yuck. If my wife was with me, there would be no way she would have stayed.

We traveled with a soccer team and have stayed at many, many hotels. This was the worst one yet. As the girls said, "sketchy". My personal room was not as bad as the double bed rooms. Those beds were flat and low. My room with a king was overall clean and tidy... just very out of date. The lobby and decorations are run down. The exterior looks nice so it's deceiving. The breakfast area looked like it had been gutted and had concrete floors -- and was separated from the "bar/bistro" area with some flimsy bamboo pull up dividers. Overall the rate was inexpensive, so I suppose it equaled the cost.

Very affordable and close to Wake Forest.Posted Apr 2, 2014
Pros: Proximity to Wake - I was able to walk there for a sports event my daughter was in, and not worry about parking at Wake.
This hotel shows its age a bit- but it was very clean and well ordered. Bed totally comfortable. Staff was very courteous and pleasant. Only problem was a slow draining tub. Wasn't there long enough to see that the problem got addressed. Breakfast didn't have hot selections (other than toasting breads) - but had yogurts, cereal and breads/bagels.

Not ready for guests yetPosted Mar 21, 2014
We arrived and it was clear that Ramada had recently purchased this hotel, or given the license for it, as there was a temporary Ramada sign covering the old Sundance sign. My room initially did not have sheets or towels, and rather than make up the room they made me switch rooms. The place was not clean, the gym was not open as advertised, and the promised wifi did not work. We had breakfast in the morning with a dozen guys in paint covered overalls, clearly there to patch up the hotel. If it's not ready for guests, please don't allow us to stay there! This was one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had
