I stayed at this hotel several times during the past months. I am travel nurse and had to stay close to one of the Winston-Salem hospitals during the days I worked. The hotel staff was wonderful and accommodating allowing me to check in after my night shifts. They treated me very well and made me feel at home! Especially Pam in the front desk and Marilyn in the dining room area. It was such a wonderful experience to visit this hotel. The rooms were clean, I felt safe, and I was very comfortable. I would definitely recommend and stay here again.

I have stayed here before, and while it was always a pleasant experience, I was happy to enter my room and find everything like new. The carpet was plush, and I didn't mind walking on it barefoot (something I rarely do in any hotel). Everything was squeaky clean; the climate control unit's fan output was just right. You know how often you try to sleep and the fan is blasting away right on to your head- not the case here. The bathroom had a lot of amenities- soaps, lotions, and a hair-dryer in a nice bag! Check in was the easiest I have ever experienced, the staff were friendly and professional, the in-room wi fi worked well. There are plenty of eating opportunities in the area, from fine dining to fast food, as well as an in-hotel dining room. The only thing I would mention is noise from the hallway (but this seems to be an issue everywhere), and on my last day housekeeping arrived at 9 in the morning. Small issues, and I really did not want to leave. My stay felt like a mini vacation.

Not a bad hotel, especially for the price

Pros: Clean, quiet
Location: Not far from the mall, just about 10 minutes from UNCSA and downtown.
Hotel was clean, spacious, and had a friendly staff. Would recommend, and would stay there again, for sure!

The king bed was wonderful to flop on after a long day. The room was clean and tidy, maid service didn't mess with any personals but cleaned room nicely. I even watched a maid clean another room from the hallway and she bleached the entire bathroom so that was good to know. The soda machines and coffee maker in lobby were out of order at the time/no biggie. My only real issue was that our key cards werent activated and we were stuck outide with armloads of bags and a crying toddler. we had to go around to the front 2 times before we could get into our room. I had an enjoyable stay and would certainly recommend this place.
