Ask for the right room....Posted Apr 7, 2015
This resort is nice and close to the skiing, rooms are nice and clean. Big draw back for us was our room was at the opposite end of the resort (down three halls) from the elevator and ski lockers. In ski boots this was a chore. Ask for a room by the elevator.

Winterpark vacationPosted Mar 26, 2015
Pros: I liked everything about this place.
Cons: The $14 a day parking was steep but you couldn't beat the convenience of the underground garage.
Location: The resort has free parking located on the other side of the cabriolet lift as well as courtesy shuttles into the town of Fraser.
The studio room was perfect for our skiing vacation. Fraser's Crossing is located right in winterpark resort within walking distance of the lifts & all the shops, directly across from the zepher lodge. The room was modern & smartly laid out with a king size bed, sitting area with a pull out couch and a small kitchette as well as ski lockers on the ground floor. We would stay here again.

Room was too hot and no way to adjust thermostatPosted Mar 23, 2015
Pros: I liked that it was on the resort and that it had a ski locker on the first floor. It also had an underground parking garage and a kitchen.
Cons: The heat issue .. the pilot light in the fireplace was set too high.
Location: It was on the resort itself. Resort had very good restaurants (except for Cheeky Monk which was disappointing).
We were there in March but had 50+ degree days. When we walked into the room, it was 79 degrees in the room. The temperature is controlled by a main thermostat for the entire building, so you can't adjust it for the room. The front desk suggested leaving the windows open. We did that during the night (when it was in the 30s and 40s outside). That helped a little but it still stayed at around 74 to 75 degrees in the middle of the night. The reason for this is because the fireplace in the room had a pilot light which was emitting a LOT of heat .. if you stand close to the fireplace (which was off), you could feel the heat. Because it was hot in the room, we had a lot of trouble getting any good sleep. Also, would have preferred a mattress that doesn't transfer motion (like a simmons beautyrest for example). The mattress in the room would let you feel every turn that someone else in the bed made. The mattress in the sofa-bed was ok for kids but would be uncomfortable for adults.

Excellent location.Posted Mar 15, 2015
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Founders Point. The staff was very friendly, held our luggage on arrival and had a room ready early. I reserved a kitchenette but we were put in a room with a full kitchen. You get transportation to the restaurants, tubing, downtown courtesy of the hotel and they were very responsive. We hardly ever waited more than 5 minutes. We will be back.

Great location. Mountain right at Your door. All amenities within 30 seconds. Little bit pricey, but good stuff is never free.

Perfect spot for a nice vacation near the slopesPosted Feb 20, 2015
Me and my wife stayed here for our 10year anniversary. This was a perfect location for the 2 of us. The room was fantastic. The lifts were within walking distance. And there were some nice restaurants and a Starbucks right accross the street. We will definitely be staying here again.
